anyone else staying at POR first week of aug?

Im new to the boards here. Wish I had found this site a long time ago!!!! This will be my 3rd visit to WDW, and first time staying in a Disney resort! This will also be the 2nd visit for my older 2 children, and the first visit for my youngest. Im getting sooo excited.

I was wondering if anyone else from the boards will be at the same hotel POR, at the same time? We will be there 8/3 thru 8/10. Ive heard some mixed reviews about this resort, and have wondered if we made the right decision to stay here.

doryfan, we'll be at POR from 7/30-8/6--I too was a bit worried about the resort, but my sister stayed there recently and said it was really nice! I figure if you get a bad room, just complain! We've only stayed onsite at WDW and you will absolutely love it! There are pros and cons to each resort, and even I have my own (good and bad) opinions on all the resorts we have stayed in! Never fear, you will be in Disney!! We'll see you there!! Happy 20th Anniversary to my Princess friend and her DH celebrating at AKL with her two DS's!!!
