..here I thought I was pretty well done with Chsitmas and here come all the deals..so, naturally, I'm buying for birthdays ;) I bought alot from the Amazon specials..it all started with the Harry Potter set ($24.00!) and then Thanksgiving and yesterday I found myself jumping on some other items as well..Mainly video games, season 1 of Modern Family, some videos for kids and my best find..the double lightsaber for 19.99. Some stuff was great, some not so great and prices not that wonderful, but it's been kind of fun. I see they are still doing this today, but it seems there are alot less deals coming much slower

I wish I would have bought more! I struck out with BF IRL shopping yesterday and I was counting on that being productive. I did a little damage on Amazon but I still have a ways to go. Here's hoping to continued great deals!

Yes, I watch it throughout the day too. And I buy the videos or games that are marked down. We are new to legos this year so I'm hoping for good deals.

I got 2 of the deals. Or was it 1??? I can't remember if they were both lightening deals or if 1 was just a deal.....

I ordered : "The Hangover" for DH and "KickA$%".

They were $5 or less each.

I did pretty well this week with Amazon:

for me under the tree:
Harry Potter Blu Ray 1-6 for $40 (saved $20 over todays price of $60)

for dh under the tree:
Simpsons Season 20 DVD for $13 (saved $15 over todays price of $28)
Fallout 3 for Xbox for $35.00 (saved $20 over todays price of $55)
Red Dead Redemption for $29 (saved $26 over todays price of $55)

for DS5 for under the tree:
Just Dance 2 for Wii $30 (saved $8 over todays price of $38)

for DS8 for his Jan birthday:
Monopoly Streets for Wii $26 (saved $3 over todays price of $29 - can't all be super -sales, lol)

So saved a total of $92 and spent $173 -- not bad, I think.

I wish I saw the Hangover - I would have gotten it for DH :( Fable 3 was tempting, but I still haven't really played the Fable 2 I got last year for Christmas though I finished Fable 1 within days.

Yep! A few CD's, a couple movies, and the one thing I shouldn't have spent the money on, the full series of Lost on Blu Ray! Half of this has been bought from my phone while doing other things. Amazon makes it WAY too easy to take my money!

Got the Toshiba Laptop that was a lightning deal
But i saw some DVDs were on clearance, one being the blindside for 3.99, I love that movie, makes me cry. So maybe today if its still on sale I could pick it up :)

Fed Ex will be coming to my house several times over the next few days:). I've bought most of my Christmas from Amazon and Walmart.com. I bought the Harry Potter set (6 movies) too. We already have the first 3, but it was cheaper to get the whole set than to buy those last 3 separately. I already have that and the gps I ordered for myself, and some memory cards I ordered earlier in the week. I should have some Wii games and accessories and some Fisher Price toys coming early next week. I need to see what else I've ordered!

I was dissapointed I missed out on Target's 40" 1080p TV for $298 until I came home and scored on Amazon Lightining Deal for a 42" 1080p TV for the same price! It is a better TV as far as ratio and all that too!!! The deal litterally lasted only seconds and I was able to get one. I was super excited!!!! :cool1:

I am spending way too much time checking the Amazon deals. I have been buying mostly blu rays and small things but it adds up quick:laughing:

Where do you find these deals??

click on the "Today's Deals" (has a gold box next to it) above the search bar. And then I click on ALL DEALS below the search bar.

I think you have to be signed in on Amazon though to add things to your cart, b/c things like TVs, Laptop, gaming systems, games, some jewelry goes in literally seconds and you could be waitlisted.

I've been stalking the the BF deals for a few days now, grabbing a few small things here and there, mostly DVDs. But just minutes ago I finally got what I've been waiting and hoping for - my KitchenAid mixer. There have been a few other deals out there, but none for the higher end models. Finally Amazon tossed up the Pro 600 model. I've been watching both the 500 and 600 for awhile now. They knocked $50 off the regular price (Amazon) and with the $50 mail-in rebate, I got it for $199. Wahoo!!! Not the color I wanted, but good enough.

No need to do all that clicking, there's a short-cut on the front page. Just click on the very upper right of the page where it says "Black Friday Deals Week" in red. :thumbsup2

I have and I am still not done. I ended up getting myself a movie, 2 cookbooks and a new pan. I grabbed the 3 Jason Bourne movies and 2 xbox games for dh, and 1 kinect game for the family. I was just checking out the rest of today's deals and I am definitely getting dh the complete farside collection, and then I think I will ban myself from Amazon until after Christmas
