....And I approved this ad? Its starting to get to me.
Election day cant get here soon enough. ;)

I can't wait for it to be over. That saying is stupid. Why can't they just do their mudslinging and get it over with. We dont need to hear their voices any longer that what is absolutely necessary. I get pretty annoyed with the commercials in general. But then again I support Bush and tend to yell back at any Democratic commercials. Unfortunately this garbage won't be over with until November.

Oh me oh my don't GET me started!!!
Living in the capital city of the first in the nation primary state....it's NOT just the TV -- it's the telephone, newspaper, workplace, and streetcorner..............
Today when we got home there were phone messages from Wes Clark and Howard Dean campaigns... and between 5 and 5:30 there was a call from a poll and another call from the Dean campaign inviting us to a gathering at a home a few blocks away where Dean would be tonight at 7. (DH and I are registered independent voters)
We have a real and unique opportunity here in NH to actually meet and talk to the presdiential candidates....but the money-making media in NH and over the border into Massachusetts really encourages the sound-byte, disgusting aspect of politics.....
bleeechhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Ugh--Katie, I had NO idea what you were talking about, until I sat down to watch West Wing, and heard it FOUR TIMES in one hour!!!!

NHAnn--I cannot even imagine the madness you guys go through. I am all for involvement, and change, and making a difference, but it gets insane, doesn't it?

I approved of this post :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad Im not alone.

Camcolt,
My husband and I were talking about "I approved this ad" the other day. I don't know why we find it incredibly annoying, but we do. It's going to be a long way to Novmeber, I ablsolutely hate political ads.

I guess it's a good thinkg that I don't watch tv that much or they really don't care about us Floridians (Yes I do know how to vote and I didn't have any hanging chads. I checked! ;) ) I haven't seen an "approved ad" yet.

Yikes, YES!

DC had their (non binding, beauty contest, only 4 candidates on the ballot) primary Tuesday, and Lyndon LaRouche started his ads a month ago...the station I listen to has at least two of those on per hour.

They are the most annoying drivel! I listen to the news on my commute and boy, I hate those ads!

Suzanne
(who's will check her chads when she moves to Florida, LOL!)

Nope. I'm not much of a TV watcher and am starting to feel very greatful that I am in a non-important primary state :p
