Hi all,
this may be due to being newly single (since May, after 10 years of marriage!), but it's been rough going through the holidays as a solo. Thank goodness I have my wonderful daughter (5 years old), who is also my travel & Disney partner to keep me company (I don't have family nearby).
I mostly cheered myself up by planning a few Disney trips: 2 days at DL in January, 2 days at WDW in March after a work conference, 6 days at DL in April and 2 days at DL again in June! All booked and ready to go (I live in Phoenix and have an AP to DL so I go often, it's only a 6 hour drive!).
Anybody else in the same boat? Do you also use Disney to cheer you up? Does it get easier with time?
Julie
