Anyone else receive a courtesy call from Virgin Orlando rep?

What a surprise it was when there was a recording on the answer machine from a virgin Orlando rep asking if we have any questions about our up coming holiday. She explained this was just a courtesy call and that we could contact her (giving her email address) at any time. We are very impressed that a virgin rep took the time to call us to check if we needed help with anything . In fact we did have a question about hand luggage so i emailed her and got a email back a couple of hours later. Anyone else receive a courtesy call from an Orlando rep?

I also have a quick question: Are you allowed to take powdered makeup eg blusher in your hand luggage?

As for the make-up question, even though its not liquid, I suspect you may not be permitted to take it in your hand luggage.

You are lucky. The last time we flew with virgin they couldn't even be bothered to contact us at the hotel to say they were bringing our flight forward by 2 hours as the airport was closing early due to hurricane jeanne. Cosmos and first choice customers had letters pushed under their room doors we had nothing and had to find out for ourselves. When we told them back home in the travel agents they said most complaints they get are from virgin passengers!!!

We are going in dec with virgin,may be a bit too early yet for calls. When do you go? Have never heard of this happening before and we always go with virgin , never had any problems.
