Anyone else ready for summer to be over?

I know I am. Summer is too hot and humid.

Nope....Actually this summer wasn't too bad....well, except for all the rain... ...I think the hottest spell we had was last week and it is gonna start cooling off now...I would like to go more than a week without cutting my grass...

Hey Todd, speaking of mowing, are you having problems with snakes this year like you did last year?

Mishetta, when does your ds start back? My kids are in their 3rd week already.

DS started school today.......it is 93 and heat index over 100. Yes, I am ready for it to be a little cooler

For us summer is extremely overrated.

We're very much fall and winter people in our house. The fall means the holidays and sweaters...and coffee on crisp mornings.

That and Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas...

We've actually had a nice summer here, but August is giving us quite a blast of heat and I really would like to see it going the other direction especially with kids starting school. Our school is not airconditioned.

me!! me!!! shannon pick me!!!! i'm ready for winter!!! i want to wear my sweatshirts and sweaters and thick socks and have snowball fights and hot chocolate and hot soup and have the heat on and cuddle on my blankets and wear cute hats and gloves and cuddle with my bf (when i get one of course! ) and walk thru snow and make snow angels and shovel and go skiing and ice skating and go to bruins games and bu hockey games and hit on the hockey players.

Yup! i'm ready for summer to be over and winter to begin!!

I'm ready! I like summer...to an extent. Now I am just bored and actually...can't believe I am saying this...wanting to go back to school. This has never happened to me before...lol. I actually am wanting my senior year to begin...maybe because its the first time since possibly kindergarten I am only taking subjects I enjoy. Unfortunately, at least here, summer weather won't end for another two months!
