Anyone else reading Jean Auel's novels?

I am re-reading the Valley of Horses, and I just reread Clan of the Cave Bear last week. I read them as a teenager (being sure my parents did not know). I really like them, esp. COTCB, just makes me wonder all kinds of stuff about the people who lived then.

Anyone else who has read this series?

She's one of my favorite authors. You have a few more books in the series to catch up on. My favorite book in the series is The Mammoth Hunters.

Yes, I have a ways to go. I hope that maybe Auel will find a way to reunite Ayla w/ Durc in the next book, though with where the Clan was and where she is in the last book, it seems like quite an impossibility.

An old friend at my old job turned me on to these books. I have read the entire series just recently. The second in the series was my favorite. I just loved the books.

I love these books! I was so excited last year when I started seeing posters for Shelters of Stone at the bookstore. I reread the series 3 times waiting for the next book. I agree, ***********, Mammoth Hunters was my favorite as well.
