Anyone else pronounce the 'l' in salmon

There have been times I intentionally mispronounce words just to get a reaction from someone around me. Hitting the L really hard on salmon would be one of those instances. So, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

Sal-mon. Yes, I pronounce the "l" lol. I'm from South Carolina, middle aged, and everyone I know that is native to the area pronounces it that way.

For those familiar with older church hymns, there is a funny one.

One hymn is titled, "There is a Balm in Gilead". If you properly pronounce the word "Balm", it sounds like, "There is a Bomb in Gilead".
