anyone else planning trip for aug 2009

Woo hoo!!! Just booked a trip to POP for Aug 6-11, 2009!!!

I'm excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. LOL

We booked earlier this week as we're having a Disney Wedding in August

We're staying at Pop for 5 nights (August 11-16) then at POFQ for 16 nights (August 16-September 1) - so excited!!

We're now waiting for flights to be released - probably won't be until late September. Luckily we get APs with our wedding so will be able to get DDE and hopefully save some money on the room rate - it seems they have been historically for late August.

My fiance and I are planning on getting married in August of 2009 and we are planning on honeymooning at Disney World...We are planning on staying at the Pop Century Resort, because we do not plan on spending a lot of time in our room. We will probably be down there from August 9-16.

We'll hopefully decorate our window, so you'll know where we are! Have mostly been in August/September for most trips and have so far always been lucky with the weather - just the usual rain showers.

Count us in for the 3rd & 4th weeks in August, 2009! We have had several great experiences with the free dining plan and are hoping for another one!! I have us booked at a Mod for now, but I may decided to upgrade if we can get the free dining. Better start saving some $$$$.

I am planning on decorating our windows while at pop. We did not do that the first trip because I didn't know anything about this site at that time. Boy have I learned a lot in a year. Maybe when it gets closer to time we could plan a dis meet or something.

On our last trip we met up with a lady who I met through her cousin on UKScrappers boards (we'd met once before when she came to London) - she and her husband drove up from South Florida and we spent a lovely few hours at DTD - they got us into searching for Hidden Mickeys!

I just really think it would be fun to see the disers that I have communicated with on here face to face. I am excited to meet people that are as nuts over disney as I am. People here think I am crazy. I have a friend from work that is a disney freak as well and she will be going with me to WDW. My sisiter will also be going who is crazy about disney as well. Everyone else that is going with us is just going because they can.

We had our first family WDW vacation this past April (we being myself, DH and DD12). We all fell in love with the place and are desperate to go back

Tentatively we’re planning on sometime in August 2009. We’re also considering May 2009 but realistically I don’t think we’ll have enough $ saved by then. Plus DD is starting Jr. High this year so pulling her out of school may no longer be an option.

Fingers are crossed for free dining in August – that would help A LOT! We only stayed 6 nights in April and we all decided that wasn’t nearly enough time so next trip it will be at least 9 nights (woohoo…extra Mickey time).

We stayed at CSR in April and LOVED it. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat, but DH would like to try something new, so CBR is being considered.

Everything is still up in the air right now – it will be after Christmas before we make any definite plans, but it sure is nice to even be considering another Disney vacation! I love reading everyone’s plans, hopes and dreams. It’s great to be a part of it!

We are going in August 2009 and we are hoping for FD! Should I book a room now and then can I add FD when it becomes available? Did anyone ever do this?

We are planning our 2nd family disney vacation. We went in August of 06 and stayed at CBR and had free dining LOVED IT. WE are now planning for August 09 - the end probably into Sept. Would like to try CSR this time - heard lots of good reviews.

Can you get AAA discount booking directly through disney? or should i book through AAA?

Count us in. Last week of August 2009 CBR. Haven't booked it with WDW yet just waiting for some codes or free dining. Can't wait!!!! I need a mickey fix sooooo bad!!!!

The people on the DIS use the green mickey heads found at local home depots paint departments they use them for tags or window decorations, this is a way for the dis members to identify each other. I had someone stop me once at epcot and because I had a mickey head on my backpack.

Count me in! I leave for my 11 day Free Dining Bounceback (from last year) in 14 days and will be booking the bounceback again. Dates for next year are 8-26 thru 9-5...another 11 day trip! I the free dining bounceback!
