I feel like people look at me like I'm crazy when I say we are planning our Disney trip for February 2016! I know it's far in advance but I have never been and I am flippin' EXCITED! I have 2 young girls (4 and 1) We were originally going to wait until our 10 year wedding anniversary in 2019 and renew our vows, but then thought "why should we wait 10 years? Why not a random number, like 7?" It works perfectly because our anniversary is on February 7th and our youngest will turn 3 on February 14th, so we won't have to factor in park tickets or the disney dining plan for her (as long as our vaca is over by the time she turns 3) but she's still old enough to enjoy herself. We definitely plan on going back again during their childhood, so I'm not too worried about her not "remembering" anything.

So we are just finishing off the pretzels in our huge UTZ container and our "Mickey Money" vinyl sticker that I ordered is en route to us and I can not wait to start throwing money in there! I have a private Pinterest folder that has approximately 300 Disney pins, and I have already started researching restaurants. We have a ballpark budget of what we'd like to ultimately save and my 4 year old already wants to start a countdown (clearly she gets my enthusiasm haha)

Am I crazy for being this excited so far in advance?! :rotfl::cheer2::bitelip:

We have been trying to plan for over 5 years, but then we started having babies and time got away from us! I'm excited that it's less than 2 years away but it still seems like it's forever.. sigh. lol

If our October 2014 isn't a total disaster (It's our first time, and all this talk about the FP+ systems not working well worries me), then we will probably return in March of 2016. We're thinking of taking a four day weekend every other calendar year. The Chicago area celebrates this Holiday in March that really nobody else in the country does (it's called Pulaski Day) so that'd be a good time to go for us. The crowds shouldn't be that bad, and my kids will miss less school since they're closed on Pulaski Day anyway.

I'm planning a 2-week trip for September 2016, but I may decide to go in the spring instead, I just don't know spring crowd levels all that well. I want to go when both water parks are open, for once. :lmao:

Not crazy at all ;) we just booked our January 2015 trip yesterday. To me, honestly, the most exciting time:confused3 is the build up and planning of the trip. I LOVE being in Disney but when I am there I have a hard time not thinking it is almost over. Does that make sense???? My kids think I'm nuts LOL.

I'm starting my planning for our 2015 trip. Really want to do the end of May/beginning of June.

Yep!

We go to Disney every year so, yes, I have a 2016 Disney trip in the works!

Looking at April or May -- love the springtime at Disney! :goodvibes
