Hmmm...I'm new so haven't had the pleasure of the "debates" on the board. But, this morning the ADR thread was hopping! Maybe everyone is on hold.

that there are fewer people/posts on the DISboards?
I am one of the 'obsessed' disers, and I've noticed that there aren't as many new threads or posts on the various boards. I enjoy reading and participating in the posts, even the OT posts, are the boards seasonal or is it just me?

Well, for me, it all started on September 19th 2009. Thats the day that I had to come home from Disney World.....Now I'm depressed that I dont get to go back for probably 2 years or longer..... Just cant seem to get myself on here when I know that I dont get to go....In need of some cheering up!!!!

I agree with a lot of people. I tend to only be on here when I have a trip coming up.

Also there is a lot of bashing, flaming, negativity going on that I'm sure is turning people off. I often say to myself, "seriously, this is something to fight about?" It seems a lot of people have an I'm better than you attitude lately and also tend to forget there are real people on the other end of the computer.

i noticed the boards are slower. Seems to me activity dropped off once school started back up

I had someone PM me, I can only guess why they would ask a question in a PM rather than in the public forum, most likely because they were a firefighter or kin to one and that topic was getting talked down on pretty bad.

at least when it slows down in hear I can keep up better.

I try to avoid all heated topics. I have a teenage daughter, so I have all the arguing I need at home. But not having seen the thread, I am not sure I can even imagine how anyone could say anything against a firefighter! If that is the case then I can totally understand someone PMing you. I am not related to, nor even know any firefighters, but I too have huge respect for them and am grateful anyone is willing to be one!

I've noticed it as well....where did everyone go?

They're all at WDW!

But I've noticed the same thing. However, I know I haven't been on nearly as much in the last 2 months as I was earlier in the year. Life has just been too crazy, and I don't have as much time to DIS.
