I know I have read otherwise, but i was surprised that the kids meals were not overpriced. Most of them were 3.99 or 4.99(lasy year-this time) which I thought was fine. i was reminded of the "value" of these meals when I went to Sesame Place last week and the kids meals were 6.39 for hotdog/fries; 6.99 chicken/fries and , get this, NO DRINK!(oh, it did come it a little plastic Elmo that my 4&7 year old could have certainly lived without!)
Anyway, I really did not firn the food to be so overpriced and now that I've learned the tips on sharing from here, we'll be in great shape for Aug. (plus we have the free dining!
)
Also, I learned about the souveniers to just stay out of the shops too much. My kids hardly asked for things in the hotel shop or even carts on the streets but as soon as we went in to 3 or 4 shops, they wanted EVERYTHING! This year we are making some rules before we go to avoid any breakdowns!
