Anyone else notice this in DVC video?

There's a couple in the DVC video sitting at a table in a studio at BWV. The woman's talking and mentions "..and then next year when we bring my parents.." and the husband does such a double-take! Anyone else notice that? We were at HHI recently, lousy weather, so I watched the DVC video many, many, many times. And I'd laugh every time at his double take. DH thought I was crazy-anyone else? Please tell me someone else sees it and thinks it's funny.

Oh My GOSH!!!!!!!!

We talk about them all the time. We see them on the video every time we are at a DVC resort.

My DH and I looked at eachother the first time we saw it and both said "Uh, I don't think he wants her parents to come with them on the next vacation."

That couple has been in the promotional videos since we joined in 1997, at least.

We've discussed them on the boards before - how the wife is doing all the talking.. and the husband tries to disguise his feelings when she mentions bringing her folks down the next year...

I think that <i>may</i> have been filmed in the old Commodore House at OKW - the one where the models used to be...

Glad to see others find this one funny too! We call what the man experiences as the "trapped" look...
When DH and I have the DVC promotion stuff on the TV (we know it by heart), he'll say or I'll say..."Oh here comes the "mother/father"(for her)... or... "trapped"(for him), part of the tape"... ...
all in good fun though...we love our DVC!

This is WAY too funny!

We saw the video and dh turned to me and said "Did you see that look he gave her! HE's NOT going with her parents- I bet you anything he bags out of THAT trip!"

you have got such good eyes. I watched that promo alot this past week and have never noticed it. I might stick in my old vcr tape DVC sent and see if it is in there.

We notice it and laugh every time we see it. I just came home from picking up my two oldest kids from play practice and on the way home we passed a deer that was standing by the road. The guy in the video has the same look as that deer just had in my car headlights.

The husband is completely trapped, a total deer in the headlights. She (the wife) obviously blindsided him with the inclusion of the in-laws on their next vacation.

I posted a similiar thread about this several years ago. The wife and I just refer to the characters in the video by the phases they use.

When were at DVC, I'll be watching TV in the BR and yell out to my wife......Honey..."four to five, four to five, four to five years". The wife know exactly what I'm talking about.

The DVC channel is the first thing we watch when we get to the room, and we usually have it on as we are packing.

Wow, I feel so much better! The first thread about the couple was almost the same day DH and I joined DVC, too (a little coincidence here?) So now, I have the added knowledge that it was first made public at a "memorable" time.

My DH and I can't help but laugh every time we see the video. He noticed it a few years ago.

We love watching that video, lol. Our favorite part is the couple by the pool and the man is wearing socks up to his knees.
