Anyone else MISS the inauguration?!

I trusted in my ability to find streaming video, but I was apparently not the only one doing so. Everywhere I went loading times were beyond slow or I'd get timed out as the maximum viewership was full.

Now I just have to hope DH had the presence of mind to TiVo it for me.

DW was watching it on the Slingplayer. So we had no loading issues. But she also taped it on two machines at home.

We are at home (snow day) and wouldn't you know it...the cable is out!!!! A fire in town burned the cable and we are without I tried and tried with the nbc and the cnn sites and the stream would stop and start over and over. This stinks!!!

You should be able to find it on youtube or foxnews by now I would think...

I bet that was frustrating. I am sure it'll be repeated all night long on the news stations. And it'll be on youtube for sure.

I was trying to watch,but my friend called right before they started to ask if I was watching it. Conversations with her never end quickly. Thankfully, I am tivoing so I can go back and watch it all.

I almost did, I work from home so I was all set to watch it on tv but my work laptop was having issues and my boss insisted I go into work ASAP and get IT to work on it, rather than waiting until after the ceramony. I was still able to work, it wasn't like it was urgent or anything but she said to do it right away. Grrrrr! I made it back just in time to see it though. Sorry the rest of you missed it!

Thankfully, my professor let me out of class with just enough time to run over to the adjacent building's auditorium, before the swearing in happened.

She tried to stream it in class first, but to no avail. If they hadn't been behind schedule I would have missed it.

Our school district had unblocked streaming sites so we could find one to watch. Unfortunately our servers (and those of the websites) couldn't handle everyone trying to tune in. I had sound but very little video.

oh...and Obama's first "blunder" as president...we've only had 43 Americans take the oath of office. Cleveland served two terms, though non-consecutive.
