Anyone else love Billy the Exterminator?

My sister got me watching recently & I've caught up through the marathons. We say that Billy has the personality of Ty Pennington and the look of Bret Michals. He's great!

I've never seen it, but I do know that on the snake forum I'm on they make fun of him for getting the ID of snakes wrong all the time, and having seriously wrong info about venomous snakes. Like calling a cornsnake a copperhead.

So I avoid this show.

ETA: Just whatever you do, don;t take anything he says at face value. The show is good for entertainment value, just not so much for education about snakes or other animals.

Billy the Exterminator: 26 - 9 Foot Gator!

Billy gets a call from Twin Lakes Summer camp where a giant gator on the loose is threatening children and pets. Billy hunts it down and discovers it's bigger than anyone thought. Next, Billy and Ricky get called about an armadillo ransacking a garden at a church. But will a wasp nest, fire ants and poison oak make this job more dangerous than they thought?

I've never seen it, but I do know that on the snake forum I'm on they make fun of him for getting the ID of snakes wrong all the time, and having seriously wrong info about venomous snakes. Like calling a cornsnake a copperhead.

He himself corrected that mistake right away. He thought it might have been a copperhead, when he first glanced at it. But then right away he said no, it is a corn snake. So he does know his snakes. Sounds like the forum you are on doesn't bother to watch a whole show. Or to pay attention.

i keep telling dh i think billy would be the best as a halloween costume.

get dh a black cowboy hat, a mullett wig, and make him a vex con get up. then he could do that 'WHOO-HEE, THAT'S A GNARLY ONE" bit and point at the trick or treaters (if he would agree to it i would love to be billy's mom)

Billy gets a call from a homeowner plagued by a terrible smell. While crawling around beneath her house he confronts the culprit head-on. Then Billy and Ricky are summoned to the Dickson residence where a frantic squirrel is trapped in the fireplace. But things don't go exactly as planned when they try to grab it from inside the house.

My son loves watching Billy The Exterminator with me. Of course, I have to DVR it since it's on a little late for him, but we both think Billy has a great personality and it's fun to watch!

I love his personality too, and his passion for his job - it's hilarious the way he gets so excited about "BOTULISM! DYSENTERY!! SALMONELLA!!!!"

And his mom last night - "OMG Bill-ay we got a REAL emergency for ya!"

I have to give him credit though for being that up cose & personal with dead, decaying, rotting, maggot-infested animals - no way I could do that without puking!

DH and I love Billy! He has the best attitude about his job. The rest of the family is hilarious. It's a great show.

My daugther and I LOVE Billy. The way he makes every call sound like it is potentially life-threatening: "There some roaches here and they could get into your mouth and choke ya." Not to mention his outfits- They are "to die for".
