I'm always watching those shows on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel & TLC about haunted houses & ghost stories.

I'll watch as many as they'll show if I have the time. The weird thing is I don't believe in ghosts, but I'm always captivated by a good ghost story.

Anyone else get wrapped up in these shows?

I LOVE those shows! I believe in ghosts, but some of those photos that they show are pretty cheesey. There's this one video in particular that I've seen on quite a few shows that claims a spirit flies in front of the camera. All you see is this white thing that runs across the screne, but to me it looks like some kind of fly or other insect that just flew in the way :) I still love them though.

I watch them occasionally. I'd watch them more often, but they give me nightmares. lol:eek:

I believe in ghosts. I'll watch those shows every time they are on.

I love a good haunting!

I love those shows! I just checked next weeks listings, and the Family channel is bringing back "Scariest Places on Earth" !

I love those shows - and I do believe in ghosts!

Ooohhhh - I just love those! I can't watch them alone, though... 'cause I get too scared. But they are an addiction!

I believe in ghosts. My family believes that we are living with a few right now! I use to find ghost stories irresistable, now I have trouble watching them.

A few years ago we moved into a 125 year old brick farm house that was owned by the same family that built it way back when. Our neighbors told us that we had the first kids there in over 50 years. The previous owners told us it was haunted before we bought it, I guess we didn't really believe them because we bought it anyway. She told us they were "scary" and she was terrified! If her DH wasn't home, she'd actually sleep outside on the porch!? Well I didn't believe that until the neighbors verified it (after we'd moved in). They had seen her out there sleeping on many occassions!

Well, we do see some strange things in this house and feel like we are being followed/watched quite often. However, I have NEVER felt scared! They take things and then after hours/days of searching it will show up in the middle of the living room floor or something! They especially liked my DD which really freaked me out because the last scary movie I saw was the 6th Sense! They talk to her and my DS at night, they don't seem to mind so the "ghosts" must not be scary to them either?

I love a good ghost show! I've been fascinated by them ever since I read "The Amityville Horror" when I was in 6th grade. (Had to hide that book under the bed--parents would've taken it right away)! I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts or not--but just the possibility gives me the heebie-jeebies!

I love ghost stories too. Haunted History on the History channel is a good show to watch. :)

I love them. I sit in front of the TV and search for them :)

I love those shows, too!! As a matter of fact, I have it arranged that I get an email reminder when one comes on!! I went to discovery.com and searched for the Haunted/scary/ghost, etc shows and then chose email reminders!!

Another ghost story lover here! I wish the networks would run them more often, not just around Halloween.

We had this house built back in 1994, but last year we had several very weird things happen, I've posted about them here.

One time I awoke to the sound of water running in our master bathroom sink--it completely freaked the dog out too because he started to bark, and kept sniffing high into the air.

Little did I know that on that day, it was anniversary of the Battle of Fredericksburg (there are numerous civil war battlefields all around me!)

Could it have been a soldier passing through? Who knows!

Another time I was in the kitchen, and DH was watching TV in the LR when he said to me "did you just put on perfume? It is too strong!" And I'm like--"no honey, I haven't!" He said the scent was of a very strong floral nature. Someone posted and said that you'll often smell roses or lilacs when a spirit/ghost is present!

I used to get creeped out when Thats Incredible or Unsolved Mysteries showed them but I don't really like the TLC brand of hour long ghost shows.

Have you been to artbell.com??
all kinds of weird phenomenon
