Man, I love that place. Just had their Cocoa Banana Cabana flavor...yummy! Anyone else love their ice cream? What's your favorite flavor? I also like the Birthday Cake Remix

Generally I find t heir ice cream to be pretty bland. You would think adding some of the items would add to the flavor but it just doesn't have loads of flavor...except I have found I like the cake batter ice cream with chocolate chips and pecans in it.

One opened near my dh2b and we LOVE it!! Cold Stone has turned us into ice cream snobs. I love their banana ice cream with reese's peanut butter cups and he loves their chocolate ice cream with extra peanut butter mixed in. I want some right now!! But he lives in a different state - wish I were there. For the ice cream! Just kidding.

One just went in about 2 minutes from my house. It's ok. I won't waste my calories on it though. I prefer Ben & Jerry's or frozen custard or even something store-bought.

Same here. My dad still prefers store bought and when I turn my nose up at it and say "if it's not Cold Stone, I ain't eatin it!" he get's all huffy and calls me a snob

I live in IL too and they just opened their 2nd one within 15 min of our house so maybe one will be coming your way soon. I'm lactose intolerant so to me it is way too rich.

We have one here, and I like it, although I usually save up an entire day's worth of calories before I even walk in the place! I swear, the way they smoosh the ice cream all around on the smooshing-board in front of them makes it extra exciting for some reason.

It's OK, but I still like Haagen-Dazs or frozen custard better, especially HD Vanilla Bean. About the only thing I'd make a special trip to CSC for would be their oatmeal (or maybe it was oatmeal cookie dough....don't remember) ice cream, but I've only seen it there once.

My girls love Cold Stone!! We live less than 15 minutes away from about 5 of them.

We usually share a like it because about 5 spoonfuls and that's enough for me. I love trying new concotions every time. But I like the lemon ice with strawberries...I can eat almost a whole bowl myself!!

I think they should have a new catch phrase for Cold Stone that somehow incorporates the smooshing. Something like "Come to Cold Stone and get your smoosh on!"
