Anyone else in your family DVC members?

My parents joined in 2000, we joined in 2002 and my mother in law and father in law in 2003.

Dear SIL & BIL have been members since 1993. They have been trying to get us to buy for ages. We finally bought last yr. Our only regret was not listening to them & buying sooner.

My Sister & her husband bought BCV in 2001. They never used to vacation and don't spend a lot of money on things. So we figured it must be good if they bought it. We bought in 2002 at BCV.

My Parents, became members first, then my family, and then my sisters family....my cousins all purchased DVC's, along with my Aunts and Uncles.

My sister bought BWV in 2000? and it didn't take much for them to convince us to buy BCV's in 2002. I haven't regretted one minute of it, especially since it was 84.00 a point back then, I cannot believe what it has gone up to since, scary.

I do not know one other actually living breathing DVC member...all I know are ppl who are too cheap to buy in but are always willing to help me spend my points (no WAY !!!)

One of my step brothers wifes brother is a DVC member. Does that count?

My brother bought almost 5 years ago.

(I also know at least 12/15 friends/acquaintances that own DVC).

My parents joined in 2005 at SSR. I was only 20 at the time and still in school. I wanted to join as well, but I figured I should wait a few years, at least until I was out of school and had a full time job! I didn't wait too long since I just joined at AKV last year.

Now that we both have points, we definitely plan on combining a lot and staying at 2 brs and GV's once the kids come along!

Yup ... my parents joined right after vacationing with us at BWV!!!! THey now go 3 times a year!

We became DVC members in 1997. Since that time we have had my FIL, MIL, SIL and cousins become members. The more the merrier!

My parents bought back in 1996. My husband and I bought in last June. My sister keeps talking about it, but wants to buy a house first!

No, actually my family and friends have taken a different approach! While they really didn't see the reason why I was buying into DVC, now they do and they are only too happy to use mine!

I wish they would buy into DVC, which would extend my points but we are all very close with children of the same age so we vacation often together and I'm only too happy to share my DVC! They receprocate in other ways!
