Here's the scenario: You're a complete WDW FANATIC and yet you don't have any trip coming up to look forward to or plan like crazy  and you're starting to get VERY jealous of all the people who are leaving soon :furious:

I'm just kidding about the jealous part (kinda ;) ) I have stayed away from the DIS for a while for just this reason, but I've missed it so much I had to come back anyway, its always fun to help others plan their trips, even if you can't go.

Anyone else having the same problem I'm having?? What do you do to combat the Not-Going-To-Disney-Blues?

Generally, if I don't have a trip planned, I stick to the CB. I might pop into the Theme Park board and scan it quickly, but I don't hang around much if I'm "tripless". :)

I am completely in the same situation. I find if I read everyone else's stories/tips/exciting countdowns, I can find some sort of satisfaction. Even looking at the picture of the day helps. . . I do believe that my DH thinks I'm having an affair online (just kidding) ;) I tell him I'm just visiting with Mickey.

it just means that its time for you to plan another trip!! :teeth:

I am the same, I usually stick to the CB board if I don't have an upcoming trip. Some days I would be ok with looking at the other boards but it just wears you down.

My next trip was supposed to be 2 yrs and 11 months away which was just too long for me and even though I would wish other people a nice vacation etc. it was hard. Now I have talked my DH into an extra trip :cool1: so here I am on the other boards....happy happy happy! I am going to relish the next 11 months...... :goodvibes

Lady Dulcinea1,

I noticed in your ticker that you only have a few days until you graduate from college! Congratulations! That accomplishment alone should make you so thrilled that a trip to Disney pales in comparison... ok, I know not having a trip in the planning stages is a bummer. However, you are getting ready to embark on the "rest of your life", and that, in itself, is a mighty fine trip! :sunny:
Enjoy it to it's fullest! :goodvibes

I am in the same boat. I wish I had a trip to plan. I still visit the boards to keep up - just in case my DH surprises me eith a trip. (Ha Ha)

I too am tortured by my coworkers who have upcoming trips...including the one who's going twice this spring/summer. :sad2:

I enter contest to try to get a second trip in a year to Disney. Hey, someone has got to win.
