Anyone notice the poll on the home page, asking "what's your favorite pirate accessory?" Most people have answered "a parrot." Could this be a survey as to what they should sell in the near future? My guess is... are we seeing the bird hat in our near future? :confused3

In the past, hardly anything worthwhile has come from the polls. Plus, since you can still get bird hats in the park I don't think they'll be sold any time soon. :confused3

Yes, I think it closed down in September.
U Can Buy the VMK Pirate Pin and Card packs at Disney Resorts and some Theme Parks, and Down-town Disney.

Hmmm... I don't want to be rude, but... you aren't exactly factually correct.

A Parrot... is a parrot. This is what a Parrot looks like:

The bird in the Seagull Hat to which you refer is a Seagull. This is what a Seagull looks like:

Yes, these two are both BIRDS. I understand that part of your argument. But voting for a "Parrot" is not voting for a "Seagull." It's like saying that there was this poll about "What's your favorite Pixar character?"

Let's say one of the answers was Mike from Monster's Inc. Does this mean that they are going to release Stitch Hats in the game because he's a monster/alien like Mike? Not exactly...

Also, the Pirate Pin Packs are being sold on a regular basis in the parks. And from what I hear, the Hosts gave out the Seagull Hats last night to the winners of the Pirate/Princess Trivia Game. Seeing as there were only a handful of winners, I do not see this as a "mass release."

Questions!:

-What resorts?
I don't know about WDW for sure (ask those that are closer for clarification with regards to that park), but DLR definitely has Pirate Pin Packs. Check in any Pin Store in either DL or DCA.
-What does the Pirate Pin consist of?
Two Random Pins, with Two Corresponding Codes. There's a pin that is a Donald Duck with a Seagull Hat on. If you get that pin in your random pack, then there will be a card that has the code for the Seagull Hat.
-Where in Downtown Disney?
Again, try Pin Stores.

Someone already answered other questions but I'll answer Resorts-
I Usually get mine at the Boardwalk or Contemporary.

Oh and at Down-town Disney,
there is a Pin shop in the Marketplace. That train thing for little kids used to be right next to it. There are also some ppl trading their pins by the tables next to the Pin shop, so if u see ppl trading their pins next to some tables, and u see a shop right next to it thats the pin shop!

Also, think of it as a scavenger hunt. :thumbsup2

I certainly hope they don't release the seagull hat, and I doubt that they would. I may start sounding obsessive if I have a seagull hat collection! Though i would love it! I actually have a scuttle hat that I wear often. :worship: :worship: to the seagulls!

I echo that statement! I would wish I had 15 heads instead of spots on my Pin Lanyard, so that I could wear 15 hats. :rotfl2:

Hercules IS a Disney Movie, so the Hydra IS a Disney Character. :lmao:

You can also get them at DLR in Downtown Disney without paying admission to the park.

You can also get them online.

Disney makes it very very easy to spend your money on these goodies. :upsidedow Marketing... it's a beautiful thing.

Tell me about it... :sad1:

Caution: a Two Pack is about $15 (correct me if I'm wrong Dreams).

I personally hope they release something with a parrot for both boys and girls. That way I can be reminded of my little beady eyed psycho.

His name is Popeye.
Actually, it's a her now. Twenty years old and it started laying eggs a couple months ago. Go figure. :confused3

I think they will either release the top hat for boys and girls, or they release a new item. Perhaps a parrot perched on your shoulder.

Dude
