Anyone else having trouble making online ADRs today?

I have never had trouble making ADRs online, as I know the system very well, but there seems to be issues tonight. Not only can I not cancel my ADRs, but I can't make any new ones either.

Despite me being properly signed in, it thinks I'm not, so it won't accept any ADRs. Even when I manually put in my info, it kicked me back out.

It also keeps saying that I've been idle for over 30 mins...

I know system was down yesterday, but anyone else having troubles in the last few hours?

Thanks, Tiger

I was having trouble yesterday, but was just able to make and cancel a reservation. I hope that it works for you soon!

no- i made one at Kona Cafe and the system cancelled the one i had at the same time for Ohana after asking me....that was about 12ish EST...

When I had issues I switched to Internet explorer and it worked. I had been using chrome. Chrome was working again for me tonight though.

First time back on the DIS all day, as it's the last few days of school = busy! So sorry for not coming back - I fell asleep with my laptop in bed last night, right after I posted!

I was able to trick the system a bit this morning, as it was still having trouble with August ADRs. I tried June and July, and no problems.

I haven't been back on since, but there were definitely some glitches last night, and this morning too, but I was able to get what I needed, so all is good!

Thanks, Tiger :)

** Edited to add: I just made a few July ADRs and it was still making me sign in each time, but at least I was able to confirm. As soon as I tried to make August ADRs, I had the same problem as last night. No matter how many times I sign in, it won't confirm an August ADR at all. There is definitely something wrong with the system.

Been having the same issues since last night and switched from Chrome to IE and finally got it to work. Thanks!

Just as a note, it doesn't matter much the original browser and the "new" browser chosen. The same solutions have been reported with pretty much every permutation of modern browsers available. The trick is to switch to a browser that you rarely (if ever) use for the Disney site. Another solution (which is essentially the same) would be to clear your cache on that browser (you can Google instructions) before starting.

There's a whole bunch of possibilities as to those common problems, but the vast majority of them are cookie/session based. So clearing the cache removes all cookie information and thus eliminates that issue (for now). Since cookies are browser based, using a new browser does the same thing as that particular cookie information is no longer present.

Just a little insight.

(And all this talk about cookies has my tummy rumbling now...)

I use firefox. I cleared all history and I still can't "search for a table" on the Disney website. It just keeps searching and won't go any further. It has been like this for a few days now. Not sure what else to do.

I was able to get in first thing this morning (180 day today) and make the first 3 reservations, then it wanted me to AGAIN confirm my hotel reservation. I tried and tried and tried again, but it couldn't confirm the hotel, which means I had to call to make the rest.

I have been trying to confirm hotel now on dining website all morning, and still nothing :confused3

I was able to book everything this am for the week of 12/21-12/30, now trying to book anything on 12/31 and the system says there is nothing available??

Disney's definitely got some work to do here.... been having the infamous 500 server error on FF.

IE, which I never use, would sit on a search forever and occasionally return with no dining found.

Finally downloaded chrome just now - but it's going nowhere either.

Update: getting all kinds of website errors now. Might be that they're resetting the server in hopes of making issues go away. Fingers crossed.

Update on the Update: Yup - they have issues (Disney never admits to having problems LOL) Main site has posted:

Site Maintenance In Progress

Our site is undergoing maintenance, but you can still book a vacation and buy tickets. We'll return shortly! And we apologize for the inconvenience.

Have a magical day!

I've been having the same kinds of issues over the last few days. Between trying online at all hours of the day and night, and calling every now and then, I have finally managed to piece everything together (except for the things that aren't in the system yet apparently - lunch at AK for one).

Now to wait for the CP pkgs...

I tried off and on all morning yesterday to change some of my ADRs. I finally called. I mentioned the online problems to the CM and she said it was the first she had heard about any online problems, as "it usually works very well.":rotfl: Anyway she was able to switch my ADRs around. I was able to get lunch at Yak Yeti for two for mid Sept (as well as House of Blues, Portobellos, Jikos, Chef's de France, and a few others).

I did discover that the major problem seems to be with kicking me out of my session. I can't get the computer to take my online ADR when I sign in first. I have to do a search, find a restaurant, and then say that I don't want to sign in, and that is because I have to manually do it.

When I do this, it works fine, and all of my ADRs are in My Vacation as well.
