Well, after being rained out 2 times..TOMORROWS the day!
Everything is reorganized, relabelled, rehung etc. Things got tossed around during the 3 week lull of rain!
I've just printed the signs for the road...
We're having the sale at DH's store. Which is on a main road with plenty of parking! It also has a large front yard, it's set back from the road a ways- so plenty of room to spread things out, but not too far so I lose site of things.
I've printed up a few sheets- with info on them. Might be overkill, however, I've got 3 complete Columbia Tectonite coats/ski pants sets, that are all 1 season old, and I wanted to make sure people knew it! These coats alone were $240 retail ( I got em on sale yeah!)...and none of them have a stain anywhere...
I've also made a sign for the powerwheels jeeps, explaining that the batteries are the new style with the fuse, the old ones were recalled etc.... The batteries are all charged, ready to go!
Have a few things that require electricity, so the power cord will be out there...I have a sign stating that as well.
1 thing needs a TV- a Pico system that the DD's got a few years ago, made by sega..anyways, we have DD's tv/vcr combo at DHs store so that'll be brought out.
Not too many big ticket items, only the jeeps, and Columbia's. Everthing else is .25-4.00
I have EVERY SINGLE piece of clothing hung on a hanger, and DH will put up 3 sets of ladders with a pole between em for me tomorrow morning. I HATE yardsales with piles of clothes! Each piece is individually marked, with the size/description, so nobody will be able to swap tags etc.
Okay, since its almost 1am, and we have to leave here by 6, I'm getting ready for bed!
good luck to those of you who are having a sale this Labor Day weekend! My profits are going to Disney- DH said tonight "we can start another WDW fund, and take the kids back next year." (he doesnt know bout christmas....shhhhhh)...but okay- I'll plan one for next year too!
