We still have a ton of leaves on our trees! Granted they are finally all yellow but haven't totally fallen! We went hiking at Hawk Mountain on Tue and was shocked at all the colors still up there! Thought for sure all the leaves would be down!
Plus we haven't even pulled out the winter coats yet!

Yes. We are usually done raking by now. Haven't even started!!
We could be raking in the snow, or it could mean we still have some warm days ahead before the real cold hits...I hope so! :)

Yall have a "fall"? I think we just skip over fall, come to think of it, winter is pretty non existant down here too! Oh well, if it was cold, everyone down here would be complaining abot that too.
It has been @ 80 degres until today, we have rain in the forcast and then it's supposed to turn "cold" (70's during the day & 50's at night.)

supergoof, I hope it's that "cold" in 4 weeks when we get down there!! ;) I'll be sitting by the pool if it's over 70. ;)

I was going to post something very similar. Two days ago it was mid-80s with high humidity, and it started raining late afternoon. Yesterday it rained all day. This morning it was 55 degreees when I woke up. I think yesterday was fall!!

LOL! The exact thing here too! Yesterday DD1 asked when she was going to be able to start wearing long pants to school. I told her whenever it finally gets cold. Usually they can start wearing pants in mid October, but it's been unseasonably warm, with highs in the 80s. Well, today it's 55! Tomorrow it's going down to 33  Gotta love those 50 degree drops - does wonders for folks with asthma :( Anyway, in two days we'll go from shorts and t-shirts to winter coats! I guess fall was yesterday for us too. The leaves are pretty, though :) And I like it to be cool for Thanksgiving. (but by mid-January, I'll be ready for spring! :teeth: )

Texas is extremely late this year. I'm just waiting for winter!!!

It's seems like we are having a very wet fall. We went out biking on a wooded trail, and it was so covered with mud and wet leaves that our bike chains got gunked up. It just seems like it isn't drying out here.:D

Our fall is over. Most of the beautiful leaves are gone. :(

Most of the leaves are still on the trees around here (ha - the trees that actually lose leaves). But we had the wettest October in years and we're currently in an unusual cold snap now. We had hail yesterday! So - we're not having a late fall - just a quick one - we're into our winter weather now.
