So I bought a SunPass Mini on my way to WDW last month. Cost $25 and comes with $20 of tolls prepaid. Figure that since I make a lot of trips to Disney and the Orlando area this will save me time and hassle. Lady tells me once I get home go online and register my Mini and I can add cash to my pass and check my balance.
Well I go online to register and enter my transponder number and the website tells me it is an invalid number :confused3
I check, double check and recheck the number on the Mini and I am entering the right number. Still getting a message that it is an invalid number.
I trying calling. I get in an endless cycle of menus. Finally find key to speak to a customer service rep and I am put on an endless hold and no one ever picks up. :furious:
I send an email from the customer service section of their website - no response to my email.
Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar problems and how they got the situation resolved

Where did you buy a SunPass Mini for $25? They only cost $4.99. The full-sized SunPass unit is the one that costs $25.

I had to e-mail them once, before I even purchased my transponder, to ask a question about it and I thought they had awesome customer service. They answered within a day I think and totally answered my question, plus provided some additional helpful info.

I didn't have any trouble registering that device on the website.

But I agree - the mini - which is like a sticker - only costs $4.99. Unless the $25 with $20 in tolls pre-paid is some special offer or something. I don't know much about the mini, since we have the other one.

What you bought might have been counterfeit or bogus.

Also it is a bad deal, at $25. for $20. worth of tolls compared with the $5. one that comes with $5. worth of tolls.

So while I was doing some work I left the phone on speaker and about a half an hour later someone answered. Their customer service is great once you get through to them. They did say that they were experiencing problems with the website and they were able to set up my account which I can now access online.
I purchased the mini at the first service plaza on the turnpike (starts with an O). The sales person told me that the $4.95 Mini does not come with any tolls and you have to register it online before you can load it. The one I bought was about $25 and came with $20 worth of tolls that you can use right away.
