Anyone else going to see The Day After TOmorrow?

DH and I will be watching it tomorrow. We have a four-day weekend...no work tomorrow! We usually wait until movies come out on DVD, but we figure this movie will be better if we watch it on the big screen.

We are going to see it at the drive in tomorrow night, it's playing with Shrek 2. Should be a fun night!

Only for me it's a great fear of big bodies of water in general, especially big bridges with water!

I remember that! I think I've got it on video tape somewhere. Three movies that were even worse than TDA (or better because of the story line and acting) were Fail Safe, Testament and Threads. Of those three, Threads was the one that will always give me the horrors. It made all other end of the world films pale in comparrison.

Another made for TV movie, Special Bulletin, was also very, very scary.

Me too! I really want to see this in the theator!!

And, I too, want to see the Stepford Wives. They filmed that movie in my town. The "lodge" building is a historical landmark really stuggling to maintain itself. The producers did hundered's of thousands of dollars resteration work.
