Anyone Else Going Stir Crazy?

I still have milestones to look forward to. MNSSHP tix go on sale soon. Then at some point our FP+ window will open. Have to shop for clothes etc. It will help pass the time.

Two days to go here, too, and I'm about to come out of my own skin. :lmao:

I am literally driving my fiancée crazy panning and replanting our September honeymoon! He finally took the computer away last night because he knows I hate trying to book and change stuff on my phone! I know I'm supposed to be using this time of waiting to plan my wedding but honestly planning my trip is way easier and more fun! At least with this I don't have to call three states and six people who won't answer just to make a decision....I just do what I think he'll like more.

I'm going nuts and I leave in 2 days - or rather 1 day 17 hours. But I've already been thinking, planning, and dreaming about my next Disney vacation in October. Hoping I can get through work tomorrow and still be semi-productive.

:rotfl2: You sound like me! :rotfl2: My husband is starting to put limits on my computer time. Something about me loving Disney more than.......I didn't catch the rest. I was planning next year's Disney vacation.

I think you and I must be the same person! It's simply unfortunate for him that he can't take my phone or he would! He is starting to come around to my side of thinking though this morning he told me all he could dream about last night was disney and asked me to actually go over what I had planned and then wondered out loud if we could afford an earlier short trip if we didn't move when out lease was up (saving us the 300 pet fee and 300 deposit and 50 app fee for another place)

We leave for our trip in 15 days and I can't get excited about it. We're foster parents to 0-3 year olds. We had a little infant we got at 3 days old; he's 3 months old and we're leaving him with respite so our family can enjoy this trip. We didn't think anything of it.

NOW we took a TEEN and we're having to leave him, too. I feel really bad about that. We can't pull him out of school to go with us, but I feel bad for just leaving this teen and going to Disneyworld. :worried:

We ARE taking him on a week-long lake trip the first week in June, though.

I just feel bad!! :(

Hi from another foster parent! We are going next week for my 30th, adults only. We were able to get special permission for our 5 month old twin placements to stay with my parents while we go. Enjoy your trip and don't feel bad - we once took a 2.5 year old to Disney after having her only 3 weeks. It was HORRiBLE! She was not used to being in public, not used to us, it was so bad I was afraid we were going to get questioned for kidnapping! With a teen it could possible be even worse, depending on their personality.

Thank you! That makes me feel better!! We already have 4 and an infant in a value, so there really is no possible way to swing it. We're too late to cancel. He's on a sport team and doesn't want to miss his last 2 games, anyway, not to mention missing a week of high school. But I still feel bad. :sad2: Fostering is hard!! Never expected to get a teen, but proud we got to get him out of a group home and back into the school he was previously attending.
