Anyone else getting emails?

If you haven't checked your email account and you are waiting for a code, CHECK it now! I haven't checked mine (due to computer problems) just got in today and I got an email two days ago.

I got a "postcard offer" via email, for $49 a night at value resorts. Is that what you got?

Unfortunately, I don't think I can use it

yes that's what I got via email. I didn't realize that they would be sending them again and was shocked to see I got another one! I think that I will be using it this time.

Yes, I got a $79 mod one a few days ago. Which I cant use since we are staying at the CR this time. But that is a great rate.

I did not get an email or a postcard. However....using other tips from the DIS, when I called to make a reservation for November, I asked if I was eligible for the $49 postcard rate. Since we had stayed on property before, she said I WAS! We didn't have a choice of resorts, but we did get All-Stars Movies for $49! Ask! You just might get the great rates.

I got one, But can't use it seeing i am leaving in a couple days using a code from an email last month.

lol, no you're not dumb!!

Disney sends out random emails now and again, with a code only you can use to get a great rate on rooms. They are totally random and no one seems to know any rhyme or reason to them.

I think asking if you can get the postcard promotional rate is a GREAT idea, especially if it hasn't expired. No harm in asking! I think the rate was only good until the 25th of December. I am sure you could get the same rate for January, it's a slower month.

Thanks for the info! I'm on their email list & get more emails than I can possibly look at so now I'm wondering if I've ever gotten one & didn't noticebecause I wasn't planning a trip at the time. Hmmmmm.
