Anyone else getting "bonus" points with Disney Visa?

For the last few months, we have gotten a few "bonus" points on our Disney Visa statement for Rewards. Not complaining at all but just wondering if anyone else is seeing this. In the past (way in the past!), they have had different promotions to earn bonus points (charging household expenses, double points for a specific period of time, etc.) but these always showed up on my on-line account under "Offers" and nothing toward points is on there now. Just curious!

I remember signing up a while back for bonus points (last year some time??). If I am receiving them, it's not obvious. Nothing actually listed on the statement.

I have been getting an extra 5 or so points a period. I am assuming because more things are actually being classified into catagories than before. This has only been happening for the last 3 months

the southwest rapid rewards visa is a much better deal in my opinion.
in fact we earned a free flight a few months ago, which we are using toward our upcoming trip in oct. they have also just extended the reward period to 2 years instead of 1 which means you have a longer time frame to use your free flight.
we looked at the disney visa but it didnt seem like it would really benefit us as much.

Okay - where are you getting these bonus points from? I get the 1% of my charges but that's it. What am I missing?

I've been wondering about the Disney Visa. Does anyone have a few minutes to explain the benefits of this card?

I had been until July statement. Now I'm showing a -XXX amount of reward dollars and am getting very aggravated at the call back in three days when I call to question it.

I got them on my Aug stmt! I had no idea how I got them but was happy to get them. We earned 23 points and got 12 "bonus" points.

From what I remember if you pay certain bills...say cable, power, phone, cell (other types of charges ie gas might also get a higher percentage) for a period of three months straight you then start to collect say 3% on those types of charges. I have been getting bonus money for a few months now. My numbers might not be right but that is the idea behind the extra money.

I've gotten bonus rewards last Fall and this Summer so far.

I purposely try to take advantage of the bonus reward offers, so they aren't a surprise when I check the website or view my statement.

3 bonus points for earning around 12. I am sure this may be attached to a previous bonus offer I had for spending over $350 on utility bills, gas expenses, dry cleaning, etc. but that was suppossed to stop June 30th. Not complaing as Disney Visa needs some additional bonus features.

southwest rapid rewards visa is better in my opinion.
