So, I'm sitting in the corner of the living room.
My wife and kids are with me, but my laptop is
strategically placed to hide the fact that I'm planning
a surprise Discovery Cove visit (heh, heh, heh).

I click on the official DC website and instantly the room
is filled with the sounds of songbirds, frogs and crickets

National Geographic, kids. National Geographic.

Great! Now I have to take them with me! ;)

Not busted but I'm planning my trip at work and opened the DC in a background tab. Then I had to search through all my open tabs to find out where the hell the ocelot screeches were coming from.

:rotfl2: Thats happened to me a few times too.

Haha yep this happened to me too. Not a surprise trip for my family - just sneakily trying to get some planning in at work. Everyone looked over to see what I was doing the moment I opened the page. :rotfl:

OK, so tip #1 is to hit the mute button or wear ear buds before going to the DC website.

Here's my tip #2: disable the DISboards automatic e-mail notification saying
someone has posted to your surprise trip thread ... especially if you're
in the habit of letting your wife read your e-mails.
