Anyone else find this annoying?

Just a small gripe.

USA Network has a habit of editing shows. It drives me nuts that L&O SVU shows are edited from their original broadcast content. It's to add more commercials. Of course it's probably sad that I notice the editing.

You know they already cut out enough to fit it into the network timeframe. We do need enough show to be able to see the plot!

I watch both shows on USA, but I've never really noticed. Still, I would prob. be annoyed if I did notice....

I notice this on TNT the most. The fact that they want to put in more commericals, fine, I can live with that. What bothers me is, that they dont even use the original editing for the commercials. You can see in the show when the commercial should be. But the commercials on TNT never are there. It happens in the hour long shows more than the 1/2 hour ones. It breaks up the show in a wierd way and doesn't flow right. Its just annoying.

Fox (or KTTV) has been dilluting the classic Simpsons syndication episodes for years.
It happens to other shows a lot too. I think it's really lame.

I haven't actually watched anything on the USA Network in quite a while. I used to watch Night Flight every weekend, several years ago.

This is a little different, but watching the edited version of movies on TV drives me nuts, because it's so obvious where they've changed the dialogue. My personal favorite is in Cruel Intentions where they change a line to "This is some freaked up scuzz!"

Of course, I have to watch them anyway!
