Anyone else dislike Dunkin Donuts commercials UPDATE, LOL!

I really hate the new Dunkin Donuts commercials..."doin' things is what I like to do' , karate one and the one about the mother getting her "8 year old out of a tree" God they are so STUPID. I used to like the ones with Johnny Damon, and Kurt Schilling. The new ones are so obnoxious I feel like writing to the company and complaining....is it just me?

I haven't seen these commercials. Then again, the only two Dunkin Donuts in the next town just closed, leaving the next closest DD a full two hours away. They're probably not showing the commercials in this market area due to this reason. I'm going to miss their coffee - its my favorite.

Actually I don't understand why one would like *any* commerical.

Except that cat-herding one from the Superbowl a few years ago. The cat-herding one was funny.

Yes it is...they just keep chanting something like" gotta get my 8 year old out of the tree" and she driinks an iced coffee. I know the karate family is annoying (and they look as if they are a real family) but trust me the tree one is a cut above that one. I think maybe they are afraid to show it anymore. I wonder if some one at the ad agency is related to a big wig at DD 'cause there is no WAY any client would want this stupid campagian.

I think the karate family is definitely a real family too. The tree one sounds very annoying but I'm sure it will be on soon. I'm just having a hard time believing the tree could be more annoying that the karate family.

NO there are really some very clever commercials. I do not know if you have Staples where you live but I love "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" back to school commercial and the one with Alice Cooper is pretty funny too. What about the one from the super bowl where the man in the office says he works with a bunch of monkeys and he REALLY does! I could go on and on. I will grant you that most commercials are an annoyance but there are those that actually have some good humor in them.

I DESPISE that one with the kids in the mini-van.

Swimming, Soccer, Ballet, Oboe....and, last but not least, KARATEEEEE! I hate it. And those kids do all look alike. I wondered if they really were related.

Have you had one of those smoothies? They say it's made with real fruit - not buying it. Tasted more like syrup. Maybe the syrup was real fruit at one time. It's also yogurt with aspartame. I thought it was terrible.

I thought they were annoying with the ones where the people were singing "Doing things is what I like to do...YEEESSSS!" But, these smoothie commercials are worse.

I haven't seen the tree one yet either. Maybe because I walk away at the mere sight of a Dunkin commercial.

LOL Well when you finally see it PM me and let me know. Then again, I do not know if they will show it again. My husband actually awakened me to see it the second time it was on because he KNEW it would drive me crazy.

Being in England I was curious to see these adverts you all hate lol. So I went and found them online - well, at least the 'Doing things...' and the 'Karateeee!' ones - yikes! No wonder you hate them so much. Very very annoying and glad they aren't on my screen lol (I'm curious still as to the tree one... I'll keep looking I'm a glutton for punishment).

Ok, so I was inspired by Gaspode and I googled the tree commercial. It is STUPID STUPID STUPID. The jingle is annoying and the mother is annoying too. "Let me have one more sip of my smoothie then I'll be able to climb the tree to get my 8 year old out of it." I almost wish I never saw it!

I'm another fan of the Staples Back to School Commercials. Love the guy dancing with the cart. I'm also a big fan of the Raisin Bran Crunch commercial series with Johnson and the guy who hates him.

I think the Karate one would annoy me more if I had to keep seeing in my tv.

When DFi and I were in Florida last year we kept on seeing the Amazing Amanda (right name?) doll adverts now those are annoying!!
