Anyone else confused by the controversy on the CB?

I wish I was clueless.... I more disgusted than confused. And there is a BIG difference between honesty and bluntness and nastiness and insults. Believe me, I'm from NY, I LIVED it for years!

Hey all, after what I just posted..THIS may be my last post. I am one of the people on the thread you are discussing. I just wanted to apologize if I offended any of you. I admit I did say some rude things, but I do not like being personally attacked in the way I was. I was only trying to stick up for my part of the population when things I had said in another post was brought into the "debate" and used to attack me. I know there are some very kind people on this board, and to them I would like to say thank you. If not for myself, you have been a tremendous support for others. You should be proud of yourselves. For me..I think it's time to move on. It's been fun guys. Take care!

Change is always difficult. I wish everyone would just calm down and learn to BLEND. If someone is a jerk, just ignore them - that is the best thing to do.

I agree. IMHO being "honest" is often a way of making a scathing comment and disguising it as honesty.

I never seem to know what is going on these days. I guess that is what happends when you go on a Disney Cruise for seven wonderful nights!!!

Same here! I just got back from camp. Everytime I go away, I always return to a clearing smoke cloud.
