I have read quite a bit this summer and I've bought most of the books off eBay. The prices are sooo much better than at the bookstore. While on vacation, I stopped at Books a Million and bought two paperbacks, the cost was about $17 ($7.99 each, plus tax)!!!!  Some of the books that I got haven't never even been read and most are HC. Also, shipping is very reasonable with media mail.

Definitely better prices!:bounce: :bounce:

I buy most of my books on half.com and ebay. You're right... so much cheaper than buying in Borders or Barnes and Noble.

I also buy alot of videos and PS2 games from these sources.

I very rarely buy new books, but if I do, I immediately sell them on ebay after reading them. The exception to that were the Harry Potter books - I buy them the first day they come out, and since I'm saving them for my youngest until he is old enough to read, I buy them new and hold on to them.

Most of the books in my collection are used - so much cheaper!

I've bought and sold some books on Amazon.com..
anyone ever use Amazon? I find their service great!
