Good morning, hope everyone is well! We have a Universal/Disney vacation booked for mid August. We fly from a smaller airport, so the fare is always more-the fare has really come down for our dates in August. I was thinking of booking-if something less expensive does show up, I could cancel and re-book, or if the parks aren't open I could cancel all together. For both situations (changing dates, or completely cancelling)-would it always go into a Jet Blue credit, or would you get a refund? I'm thinking cancelling all together would be a refund, and re booking would go into the Jet blue credit account. Am I understanding that correctly?
Thanks!

If you cancel you only get a credit. If they cancel your flight, you are suppose to get a refund. This worked for me, but others had problems. I had a round trip but booked 2 one ways. They canceled my flight down and I asked for a refund and got it. But I had to cancel my flight home as Jetblue didn’t cancel that flight. Jetblue waived all fees, but I only got a travel credit that has to be spent within 24 months from April 2020.

ok thanks-makes sense, I was also concerned that since it's a small airport, it might get cancelled-I see on their website, that some of the smaller airports (mine is included), they are not flying from, I think the website said until June. thanks again!
