I know I am jumping the gun a little bit here...but I am so excited. Just wanted to know if anyone else out there is also booked for the month of October 2006. We just booked our trip last week and I can't wait!!! Already talking about which restaurants we want to eat at!!!

I haven't booked our ressies yet, though. We are renting points to stay at the BCV for 6 nights. The DVC member will be making those ressies next month. We still have two nights before we check into BCV, and I'm thinking the Poly. We've never stayed deluxe at all and after reading all of the glowing reports here, I'm dying to try the Poly. I'm thinking if I can convince my DH to spend that kind of $$ for two nights, after he actually stays there, maybe he'll be hooked!!

I've already made ressies at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. We've never gone there, but had friends to go earlier this month & they LOVED it! Will also be very convenient if we're at the Poly... ;)

I love planning our WDW trips -- to me that's half the fun. I'm already thinking about other restaurants, MNSSHP, the Family Magic tour, etc...

I can't wait!

Well...I don't know about you, but my DH thinks I am. I am completely addicted to Disney. I have even started collecting the Disney Lenox Figures!!!

You will love the Spirit of Aloha. My DH & I did that on our honeymoon. The food was wonderful and the show was very cute. The twirling of the fire was awesome!!! :sunny:

We are! :cool1:

We're booked for October 21-27, 2006 at the Poly! I made the reservations in August. It's nice to be 'less than a year' from our trip.

I also have the week pretty much planned out already. Yes, we are nuts! But I love it! :teeth:

we will be at the Poly (maybe a new renovated CR but I am still saying Poly because we were sooo fond of the resort, it will feel like going "home" to us!!

We missed MNSSHP this year but it is a MUST do next year!!

Which view did you have at the Poly? We are thinking of staying their for our next trip. I have never stayed their before....our last trip was at the CR

We're not booked, but hopefully planning next MNSSHP over halloween in 06. I'm actually probably going to wait until school schedule gets set to book. This year DD5 has off fri 10/28 and tues 11/1, so I'm thinking if its similar next year, she will only miss 3 days of school. Crossing my fingers. Schedule should come out in feb/march...will that be too late to get the good discounts? I sure hope not.

We are NEW DVC MEMBERS :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: so next month we will be making our ressies for BCV Oct 14-21 and will be doing MNNSHP, and we will also be going to Hilton head in June for 5 nights :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

we had garden in FIJI it was a GREAT location!! No, you can not see the Mk from there but we had a new room  which was fabulous!! We did have a view of GF, lagoon, monorail, and luau cove!! We were close to GCH and Volcano pool as well. If you are considering a garden view, Fiji was a great choice!! The resort itself is wonderful and will be hard to beat if we ever stay anywhere else... :cloud9: the new rooms :cloud9: so luxurious...

Of course it is not like a tower room view at CR, so if view of MK is a priority, the Poly is farther from it than CR...howeverm having been in both, I can tell you there is a peace and quiet that the Poly has and a tropical getaway feel...the pool was great!! It was perfect!!

We just decided on our trip for next year yesterday - we'll be there for the last few days of Sept & the first week or so in Oct. Can't wait to go to MNSSHP & the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. It's so much fun to return to WDW with new things to check out!! :teeth:

We'll probably stay at POP again (we love it there!!) & get AP's again so we can return the following September & have our passes paid for. No ressies here yet for anything, but am already having fun planning out restaurants & different plans for the trip.

I think that planning is a big part of the fun, too! :teeth:

We were upgraded to a tower room with an MK view (which was a total surprise) The view was great...but considering the room was new..I wasn't too thrilled with it. I am very interested to compare it to the Poly.

I'm booked...yesterday, in fact! My boyfriend and I will be staying 10 nights at the Polynesian October 4-14, 2006. We booked through AAA, got a great rate so far and we'll be flying for free so I'm even more excited!

I already have a countdown calendar started at work too

I haven't booked yet, but I am in the planning stages. I don't want to book until I know I have all the $$ to go. Are there discounts if I book now? What kind? What advantages do I have to book now instead of later? We are planning on Oct 15-21, 2006!! :cheer2:

The only discounts now are AAA discounts. We used our AAA discount when we made our October 2006 reservations this past August. We'll keep a look out over the summer to see if any deals for Fall 2006 come out. I hope so!

Yes...everyone keep their fingers crossed that they do the free dining plan again. That saved us about $700.00 the last time we went. It was awesome!!

I'll be at BWV from Oct 21-26. I'll be there with my dd and another mom and her dd....my dd turns 13 on the 25th and the other dd turns 13 on the 27th..so, we're celebrating both birthdays with a girls only trip to WDW. I already have HDDR booked and will be booking our villa in late Nov.

We're going to celebrate a DAunt's 80th at BWV! Oct. 22 and 23rd for sure, maybe a bit more either way, but that's what we offered her as a present! We hope to do a fireworks or illuminations cruise!
