Anyone else blown away by the foliage?

I have lived in Massachusetts all but 1 year of my life (33 years)....Fall is my favorite season because of the foliage, etc. and I always remember it so beautiful in my mind, but it never ceases to amaze me how blown away I am when we reach peak color!

Anyone else also always amazed or am I just easily amused?

I agree, it is beautiful this year. I live in a river valley in Minnesota surrounded by bluffs. The last 3 years haven't been that great in terms of color, so I had kind of forgotten how gorgeous it can be!!!

for the moose hunt and I had my eyes on the mountains and valleys everywhere we went.....forgot what I was there for .....one whole area was nothing but yellow .....a mass of yellow in the whole area...it was amazing

Gorgeous here in WI where we live. We have 7 deer that are all around right now. We see them daily, in all of the beautiful colors. My drive to DD's school is really pretty also

Still waiting for the turkey's to show up.

What foliage? Everything is still pretty green down this way, there's only a few trees that have just started to turn.

Distinct seasons are one of the things I miss sometimes, grew up in Montana and the seasons there are so obvious. Here in TX they all blend, the last couple of days have been in the 90's So much for fall.

I agree!!! Last fall my mother was dying, and eventually died, so I totally missed enjoying the colors of the leaves. This seems to be a great year for foliage! Every time I run to the store or go somewhere, I wish I had my camera with me to snap some pics. I'm going to have to remember to just bring the digital with me. Scenery like this is too beautiful not to capture in a picture

Fall is also my absoulte favorite season of the year. I have always wanted to go back to New England during this time of the year to see the trees, but I have to say that WA is pretty darn beautiful as well!

It is just same old same old here.
Sometimes, I wish for the seasonal changes and feel sorry for myself, but then I remember the raking of leaves and shoveling of snow and other things not so nice and I end my pity party fast. BUT I do remember how pretty it was and wish just for one day I could experience it again.

We were in WDW Oct 1-10
I was amazed at the foliage when we returned - remember mentioning it to friends

We came home to Ohio through western Maryland and West Virginia this past weekend, and the colors and sights were so beautiful! As you traveled you looked down and across valleys of perfectly outlined farms with yellow, gold and orange trees lining the mountains.

My parents just got back from maine and said it was absolutley incredible right now with the trees.We usually go to the amish country to see the leaves change,thats another great place.
