That's so sad, Peter. Do you and/or your brother live nearby? What a tough position to be in....my heart goes out to you.

Keep us posted, please. :)

We all live within 15 min of each other and I am only 5 min from my parents on the same road .I lived with them untill I married Jeannette 6 years ago oct 14

Hi Peter!!!

It's great that you're all so close!! :thumbsup2 Is it possible to work out some kind of schedule that would enable you guys to take turns looking after your parents?? I suppose that would be difficult even with you all being that close.

Jeannette's Mother has helped them out a lot after dad lost his drivers licence ( She drives them to the Dr and to church on sundays and they now have a housekeeper but she only works 7 hrs a day 5 days a week . but they are very soon going to require 24 hr care

Thanks for the support

We went the first week of December in 2003 and it was WONDERFUL! The weather was perfect--even a little too chilly to swim at times. The hotels were gorgeous. We took one day to drive around and see the different resorts all decked out. We went to MVMCP and they had it snowing on Main Street. I think I liked it better than MNSSHP. I know the crowds were a lot smaller than this year. The buses were a nightmare from the parks back to POP this trip. One driver even got lost coming from MK. She went to Boardwalk, then had to back up--that took forever--then she took us to All-Stars and finally POP. It was over an hour and the bus was jammed. It was horrible.

Let me chime in regarding a Christmas visit to WDW. If anything could make WDW even more magical it's Christmas. Combine the magic of Christmas with pixie dust :tinker: for a vacation that can't be beat!! (Can you tell I'm excited?) You should definitely plan to go BEFORE the school holidays begin since that 2 week period is the most busy period WDW has. Main Street is beautiful indeed.

I'm wishing I could take my bride there this Christmas but our plans will keep us from getting married until January. :sad2: Maybe we can swing an early first anniversary! :love2:
