anyone else asked to keep a daily diary on their DVC trip?

We stayed at OKW June 20 - 29 and when checking in were asked by a CM is we would be interested in keeping a daily diary (provided by Disney) of our activities and expenses. We turned in the previous day's page each morning at the hospitality house and could pick out a Disney pen of our choice. We were told we would receive a Disney thank you gift in the mail in 4 - 6 weeks with a value not to exceed $25.00.

We haven't received anything yet and wondering if anyone else on the DIS boards participated in this and if they had received their gift.

We were asked to do it Jun4-11, and did. We got a pen each day, but have yet to receive the $25 gift. I like filling out surveys, so if I don't get the gift, I am ok with that, although I would like to know what it is.

I didn't mind doing the survey either. It was interesting to actually track where all the money was going!

I saw the CM that initially asked us to participate a few days later and asked her a few questions about the survey. She wasn't a Disney employee but worked for a contracted consulting firm. This was a follow up more detailed survey that was initiated because of a DVC survey last year. The earlier survey apparently raised alot more questions that Disney wanted to follow up in more detail.

I'd do that. I think it would be fun! Ialways love it when the CMs at the entrance gates ask me if they can have my e-mail address so I can do a survey when we get home.

I'd do it! Know why? Because I journal everyday anyways - even at WDW.

We also did the diary and got about 6 pens in total. I thought that was awsome! I love those pens, but come to think of it we have not received our gift either. Our trip was, I think, June 17-21. Hmm, would be nice to know what it is. Not a big deal but, hey I love those pens!!

I would definitely do this if asked -- I like to journal/do surveys and the like, so it would be a fun experiment for our family.

I received my gift today--a gift card from the Disney store. The letter doesn't say the amount--I am guessing maybe $25. Not bad for doing what I like to do anyway.
