Anyone else as frustrated?

Wow~ I wake up this morning, read the boards, and see that it is THE day to get the party tickets! I get on the phone and there is when the drama begins. It took my 6 phone calls and holding for at least 20 minutes each before getting what I wanted. I only got what I wanted after walking each CM through the process or begging them to ask someone that knew what to do. How can 6 CMs not know what to do? This was more complicated then when the AP rates come out. Thank goodness I got everything done so I don't have to deal with it for another year! :sad2:
 
Very frustrating. It took me two phone calls. The first CM was very rude and told me "NO" the tickets are not on sale. I had him transfer me to dining because we wanted an LTT ressie at 5:30. I had a very helpful CM who didn't think we could make the ressie more than 90 days out but put me on hold so she could check. She came back laughing asking me how I knew I could book starting today and I told her DIS. I dialed again and got another helpful CM who sold me the tickets.
 
Frustrated here as well. I posted my frustration on page 28 of the MVMCP thread as it was happening. 45 minutes to get the tickets and LTT PS. Rediculous!

I felt as if I were trying to use a brand-new AP room code or something with the long wait and having to walk the CM through what to do.

I called this morning. When the CM answered, the conversation went:

"I'd like to get tickets for the halloween party, please"
(silence)
me: "hello?" .... "hello?"

Dead line. I'd like to think it was an accidental disconnect on their end, but from the CM reactions many are posting, :sad2: I doubt it.

Called back, and got Perri, who was really great, and got tickets for me for the 20th. She knew all the answers, and even volunteered info about the evening carriage rides at Ft Wilderness.
 
I just called to make LTT reservations and the CM had no idea LTT PS could be made this early, and her system was showing I had to wait until Sept. 19th. She (Luella) was super sweet, quickly checked and made my PS. But I couldn't help thinking, these parties have gone on for how many years? Early PS have been available for how many years? Shouldn't WDW have streamlined this process by now? I'm not grumpy - but then again for me it was a five minute phone call total. I really feel for the people who are on hold for a half-hour only to get the runaround for another half-hour.

I got disconnected twice! The first time was right when the CM was reading my confirmation for the LTT. All of a sudden I hears Click! I call back, wait another 20 minutes only to be told that I had no reservation for LTT and that they weren't even booking it this far out! So I had to start all over again. What a pain!

That is worse than my 45 minute wait! I would be totally ticked!!
 
She was great and was on top of it,I was on hold for 30 minutes.Then Miriam came on line and laughed when I asked for MVMCP tickets and said boy you found out fast.Took my order for December 6th and 8th tickets with no problem.We chatted for a little bit while CC cleared,her entire family was going on Disney Cruise and then to WDW and a MVMCP,total of 39 family members,wow I could not imagine calling Disney Dining and asking for A PS and by the way that will be for 39. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:
 
We had a very helpful CM this morning! When we tried calling last night, the CM told us that they were using a new system for the MNSSHP tickets and were testing it out before they put the system on "live"....maybe that is why there is so much trouble...all the bugs have not been worked out. The CM we spoke to this morning at first told us the tickets were not on sale yet...I then proceeded to tell her that I was a member of a disney forum and people were posting that they were buying them...she put us on hold and came back a few minutes later and asked what date we wanted the tickets for :wizard: :cheer2: ...she thanked us for letting her know they were on sale as no one was told when they came in this morning :sad2: !!! What a mess it was, I think a little communication and orginization would have helped them!!!

I am just glad we got our tickets :cheer2: ...I was also surprised that we got the AP rate over the phone as I had read you only get the discount on the day of the event. And our tickets are being mailed to us. A friend of ours called after we let him know they were on sale and he got the AP rate, but they would not mail his. He has to pick them up a the gate. :confused3
 
Yes, it took me 4 calls to finally get my mnsshp tickets & my LTT ps. I don't think we should have to work this hard to give Disney our money.
 
I also had a not so fun experience trying to get tickets. I called and told the CM that I needed 2 tickets for the 27th to which she replied, "you go whenever you want, they're not for specific dates." So I asked how that could be since Halloween is more expensive and sells out and she told me, "once you have your tickets you are ok." I also had to give her my address 3 times. Anyway, I was also going to buy 4 for my parents but I decided to call back and I spoke with Natalie who was so very helpful. She straightened everything out, including my address which was wrong, and sold me 4 more tickets for my parents and confirmed our tickets for the 27th. (maybe me constantly repeating to first CM, "please put down the 27th please put down the 27th, could you put down the 27th" got through to her)
Thanks to everything I've read here, I knew to call back and get someone who knew what was going on. :cool1:
 
Do you have to buy your tickets and have an order # before you can PS LTT for a party night? Some of you are making separate phone calls to buy tickets and book LTT? I remember last Xmas we were able to book LTT without tickets, but I think there was a glitch and the computer was down for ticket sales at the time - so maybe that was just an exception. :confused3

Oh no, not at all! I was just planning on waiting and making a PS at Crystal Palace and then changed my mind. Both could have been taken care of with one phone call. (well, theoretically..... :teeth: )

The first CM I spoke to about getting LTT PS didn't know it could be done. I told her I thought I could get a PS now for before MVMCP, she checked on it and found out I was right. She was really nice.

I called back for our MVMCP tickets. CM was SUPER nice, but said tickets not on sale. She checked several different things for me, put me on hold, and still said they were not on sale.

I called back and got a different CM, even more nice, and she new right away at tickets were on sale and she sounded so excited to get the tickets for me. :) I wish I could remember her name because she was so great!
