Anyone Else Anxious About The 2010 DCL Itineraries?

We are by no means wealthy.....travel is just a priority to us and where we choose to spend our discretionary funds.

When did we get discretionary funds??

I think I'll just convince my wife to go with Carnival. She never reads these boards anyway.;)

If there are any doctors, nurses or even pharmacists who may know if there is an OTC for sticker shock. Pretty sure I will need to purchase some. Maybe a trip to Tijuana.

Often, booking a return fare from Europe is cheaper than a one way. Just don't use the return ticket.

I checked Expedia for round trip plane fare in March, and it was half of a one way ticket. I just don't understand that.

It's complicated....and defies logic! It used to be this way with all air travel, Europe is still this way. One way tickets are a different booking class, the less expensive booking classes are more restrictive and can only be booked as part of a return ticket!

yes, internationally, round trip is always cheaper than one way...

for transatlantic voyages, the air fares offered by cruise lines for the other direction are often cheaper than the one way tickets that you can book for yourself..

I booked my parents on the Eastbound TA. Anyone else book? The airfare adder was only $865 for 2 people from Pittsburgh. I still don't think that is possible, but I have to confirmation right here. I don't think you can beat $433 airfare.

Wow, that is cheap for the airfare. I booked the westbound  but did not include airfare. The last time I booked air via a cruise line they booked the cheapest, non upgradable tickets available.

This may sound snooty, but I am NOT flying coach to Europe if there is any way I can avoid it. I have enough frequent flyer miles and system wide upgrade coupons that if I book early enough I shouldn't have to - just have to buy an upgradeable ticket or use a lot of miles :lmao:

It is a very long way off, I made my deposit, so now it's time to forget about it for about 11 months, then I can book my airfare.
