The reviews in the sticky are quite old so I was wondering if anyone has eaten here lately? I fancy eating here one night and then getting a few drinks in the bar on our Christmas trip - if anyone has any recent experiences, prices/menus to share I'd be grateful :) Also anyone who had a bar (*cough* cocktail) price list for the bar that would be great too :goodvibes Does anyone know if the bar serves snacks?

Thanks :goodvibes

The bar always used to serve snacks - assume they still do. We often used to get a sandwich there one evening of the trip. They were usually big enough to share and came with crisps as well

We ate in Hunters grill in Feb, it was very nice! It was buffet style, and there was alot of choices, including things for the children. We had free dining vouchers, but I think it was about 26 euros for adults?

We ate in the Beavers Creek Tavern on Weds 6th October - its a full buffet for the kids, with several choices for adults - you can have a la carte main meal only, or add a starter buffet option, or dessert buffet option, or both if you prefer. I had the half roast chicken for my main, it was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and came with a large baked potato with sour cream, crisp runner beans, bacon and sausage.
We ate at 7pm, after park closing at 6pm, and the restaurant wasn't busy. Plenty of room to move about the serving stations, and very similar options for the kids as we had at the Cape Cod buffet at the Newport Bay Club, including ice lollies, cookies, chocolate mousse and jelly for dessert :goodvibes.

I didn't really look in depth at the cocktail menu, but I did buy DD a shaker cocktail there in the bar, from what I remember the non-alcoholic cocktails were around 8 euros, alcoholic ones 11 euros.

Thank you all! My mouth is watering! Right I think Beavers Creek is on the shortlist :) Will be great to retire to the bar, the open fire and the christmas decs :goodvibes
