We are eating there for the first time in August and would love to hear about anyone's experiences recently. Anyone done the wine pairings? Thanks for your input.
DH and I dined there for the first time in May. In fact it was mother's day.
We were very impressed with the food and atmosphere. The service was also excellent. We were happy with our food selections and would return there. It is definately one of the more expensive restaurants in WDW, but well worth it in our opinion.
Could you expand a little, please, k5thbeatle? We have an ADR here, as well as Jiko and will be making one at Bistro once we're at the 30-day point. We, too, are aware of the mediocrity of a lot of the restaurants on WDW property, but haven't felt Jiko and Bistro had been "hit" yet. Citricos is a new one for us. If it's akin to a chain restaurant, we'll cancel.
My parents ate there in May and said it was their best meal at WDW. They were said it was nice to have a restaurant at WDW that could fit in with some of the restaurants here in atlanta. They said the only thing that was so so was the desserts. We all plan to go back in December.
I was there in June of 2005 and April 2007 and, both times, it was EXCELLENT.
I have not noticed any slide into mediocrity with this place; however, I certainly have noticed it in many of the other establishments. Hopefully the signature restaurants will remain at their great levels of food and service!
The shrimp/feta appetizer was out of this world delicious!
