What kind of restaraunt are they ? Would our 2 boys 5 and 7 be out of place there? Are they like a fridays or more like a Dennys? What kind of prices do they have? Thanks in advance

but the Steak and Ale's that I have eaten at in the past featured steak on their menus. Not a big surprise there being that their name has steak in it. The were more upscale than a Denny's and more pricey than that also. But we are not talking coat and tie or anything. I have not eaten at one in the Orlando area.

I've never eaten at Steak and Ale in Orlando, but it is a chain, and I've eaten at them all over the place. I would say that it's nicer than Fridays (and Denny's). The price range is a little higher than Fridays (especially since most of the dishes are steak), and the atmousphere is dark. They're modeled to look like a German cottage.

The food is good, and there are good chicken dishes for people who aren't fond of steak. (I love the Hawiian Chicken.) You get a salad bar with your dinner, and they bring that dark bread you get at most steak restaurants to the table.

Steak and Ale is a casual family style steakhouse. I've taken my 3 year twins there a few times. There were lots of other families there. I don't remember the menu prices. I think an average price for an entree is about $15? All meals include a salad bar and bread. The bread is pretty good - some sort of sweet bread. The prices are I'd say, are right in line with Fridays, Outback and Boulder Creek.

Thank you so much for the resonses!!! It helps a lot since I ad no idea of what a Steak and Ale was like!
Thankyou this board is the best!!!!:)
