Anyone eat at Casey's?

For some reason, I have this strong desire to eat at least one meal at Casey's Corner in MK while we're on our upcoming trip. It's probably the MK QS I read the least about here. I've seen the corn dog nuggets mentioned as a good snack option, but does anyone actually go there for lunch or dinner much?

When I'm trying to avoid dealing with the daily grind and I let my mind wander to Disney, I inevitably picture myself (and my folks) sitting at one of those outside tables with the cute red and white umbrellas, enjoying our hot dogs and soaking up the atmosphere. Maybe there's a parade going by, Maybe it's nighttime and everything is all lit up and beautiful around us.

Anyone?

I enjoy baseball fare. It's adequate; not disappointing. Cute atmosphere. Nothing special though.

We are probably among the minority, but Casey's corn dog nuggets are a must do each trip. They are good and something I only eat at Disney. The tables outside are nice. Can be crowded inside and the lines to order are confusing. Try it, I think you'll enjoy.

I have the same urge, but i'd get the corn dog nuggets for my kid and the polish sausage for me, which looks pretty good and a bit more "grownup" than the standard hog dog. it's got pumps of cheeez for your fries, cotton candy and cracker jacks. what is not to love? have never been there but planned it in for next trip!

The food is fine, but the smell is so awful that I can't stand to eat anywhere nearby.

Sadly, the plastic cheese is long gone.

At one point, I made the corn dog nuggets a must-do for a meal at MK. Maybe it's a combination of too much of a good thing (I go often since I have an AP) or maybe it stopped being appealing since their switch to shoestring fries & the banning of melted cheese but I haven't gone to Casey's since & am branching out to trying new things these days.

They do have a good batter though so I still recommend them if anything off the menu as a snack. And I also like the atmosphere of Casey's & location of the outdoor tables, especially when the piano man is playing or there's a castle show. :)

We like Casey's, seating can just be hard to come by when it's busy!

The pulled pork bbq slaw dog is good, even though I'm not much of a bbq fan. My oldest DS ate the chili dog so fast that no one else had a chance to try it, so, I'm guessing it was good, lol! I like the plain dogs with mustard, too.

We really like Casey's - it's one of the QS the kids requested again this trip.

Only thing I found annoying was seating - we were eating just before MSEP, so people were outside sitting at all the tables, even without food, so we had a hard time finding a spot. Finally found a table that didn't have enough chairs, and when I asked the lady at the next table if we could use one of their empty chairs she lied and said someone was sitting there and used it for her bag (nobody joined them the entire time we were there), so we ended up sharing 4 chairs between the 6 of us (not the most comfortable). Next time we'll make sure we aren't eating at a parade time ;)

we tried it while watching the kiss goodnight, was a great experience. but my opinion, the food isn't fantastic, just average. the bun is way too big for the hot dog, shoestring fries aren't my favorite. but the location is great, and good enough for a snack. my favorite was friars nook pot roast mac and cheese. I sent my family to Pinocchio's, (I have a chicken nugget kind of kid) and told them to get a table upstairs if they could. I got some mac and cheese and met them up there to have dinner. we were by ourselves up there, it was perfect!

It's DH's very favorite QS on property. He must eat there at least once every trip. Me, it's alright. A chili dog is a chili dog.

We like it enough, but not a must do and we skipped in this past trip.
We prefer CHH or BOG at MK.
However the corn dog nuggets are great to just walk around with. The other hot dogs require a sit down to eat IMO and I would prefer the other 2 if we are going to sit down for QS

They're good hot dogs - I mean, a hot dog is a hot dog, isn't it?

That said, we've eaten there several times, and have NEVER actually sat down at one of those tables. I think the Casey tables are notorious for people who bring their own food (at least that's what it seems like when you're holding a tray full of food and have a hungry kid trailing behind you).

I like the nuggets but the line is impossible to navigate, you never know if you are in the order line or the getting line and everyone else is just as confused as you are so it's mass chaos. The tables outside are nice but like another poster mentioned, hard to get since everyone gets one and spends the day at it and you are fighting the birds and usually sitting in something someone spilled. There used to be little stadium like sitting inside where they showed Disney shorts (sorry don't remember if it was still there last time we were in there) which was kind of fun to sit at. If I go in and brave the crowd, I get my nuggets and go cope a squat on one of the lawns, much more relaxing for me.

We go for lunch every few trips. Since the hub renovation, we're even more likely to go because we LOVE taking our lunch out to the fenced in green space that now surrounds the hub. I brought a small towel for our youngest to sit on because he has sensory issues, but the rest of us were fine to sit on the grass. It's a wonderful picnic with a view of the castle. And while everything was busy all around the hub at lunchtime, the green space was peaceful and quiet. :)

It's kinda a tradition for us to have dogs and fries and watch "Wishes" ...We get them fully loaded from the fixing bar..yummy..

NOTE: Casey's Corner is such a convenient Fast Food location, it's a shame that they now
have such poor hot dogs. It is a Hot Dog Stand, but with bad hot dogs! Casey's changed
the dog formula, and changed buns to multi-grain. Both are poor, and when combined,
makes for one terrible sandwich. Saving grace is the fixin's bar, but even that has been
reduced in the amount of items. But, the french fries are very good. Much to my surprise,
chicken nuggets are surprising good for fast food. It's a nice place to sit-listen to the piano
player or watch fireworks, but not for food.
TO paraphrase the poem, "THE MIGHTY CASEY'S HAS STRUCK OUT !"..
