Anyone earn enough through My points??

H I was over looking at Mousesavers, and I was wondering...Has anyone ever earned enough to say... pay for adult hoppers? Can you really buy them using these certificates? It seems like I have nothing better to do than surf the net all day, if I can use that to knock off some of the cost of our tix it would be great. If you have used them to buy hoppers, do you buy them at check in with the certificates, or do you go and buy them from the Disney Store/Disney online? How soon do you need to order your certificates before you need them? What else have you earned/used your certificates for? How much extra is the plastic card?

You might want to post this over on the rewards board as well. I usually earn about $50-75 dollars in gift certificates per year using mypoints, but I know others earn a lot more.

Back in the "Golden Days" of rewards programs, I was able to earn about $1000 for our Disney trip. Now, I am so frustrated with the programs, the only one I still do is MyPoints, and then it's mostly just the bonus emails. I still earn about $75 a year and I use the points for Webcertificates. I then go to the website of my local mall and purchased mall GCs online, paying with my webcert account. The GCs usually arrive within 48 hours, and I take the GCs to the mall and purchase Disney Dollars with them!

If you wanted to eliminate the "middle man", you could always just purchase hoppers online using your webcert account.

I started mypoints this past spring and I have earned 2 $10 gift cards so far (one for Chili's and one for gas - I'm saving both for my Sept Disney trip).

The only thing I "buy" thru mypoints is my contact lenses. All the rest of my points are thru the freebie emails. It's slow going, but it's better than nothing I guess.

I can't imagine ever earning enough points to pay for a pass!
