We might be going in Nov/Dec, and DD will be 19 mos if we do. I'd love to bring the travel system because of the storage and because it fully reclines, but am just wondering how feasible it will be because of the bulk.
Thanks!

We've used ours every time we've gone and loved having it! All the storage and a comfy place for DS to sit was great. I will add though that we rent a car, so we've only used the buses a couple of times, but even then didn't find it to be a problem.

We've gone with the single Graco and with the double one (the duoglider) and one time umbrella strollers. We preferred bringing the travel system (now we have to have the duoglider but same thing just longer). Traveled by bus system each time. I do have to say that no matter the stroller, your blood pressure will rise everytime you have to fold it up and lug it onto the bus and find a place to sit or stand. It was much easier with just one; with three you have to be fast. Usually I will grab the kids and get them on or off the bus and DH will get the bags, fold the stroller and figures out where he can find a spot to cram himself into. The monorails you can just wheel on board although sometimes people give you looks if it is very crowded (again blood pressure runs high but I think to myself that one day they will be cursed with having to go through a similar situation when they have kids!). ;)

In the parks it is wonderful as you can put drinks, store bags and it is much more comfortable and familiar for the children. Ours has been beaten up so much that my fear of having it stolen at this point would be a blessing (please take it so we don't have to figure out a way to get rid of it ourselves! :thumbsup2 )

However I read other reports about stroller bandits so no leaving valuables when parking it and we usually try to park it in an area in teh middle of a whole bunch of other strollers. Makes it as hard as possible for anyone to go get, lower profile too. Also have a visible Id and a hidden one on there so just in case it is debated if it really belongs to you or not is someone takes it then it's marked.

Have lots of fun!

I've done it with no problems! I'm actually debating take our Evenflo full sized stroller rather then our single Mac, because ds will be 17 months old and will hopefully fall asleep on our late nights.

We took ours in Oct. for our 3 year old. We stayed in FW & walked at the resort alot so it was a godsend for us. We will take it again this September. I plan on him napping in it this year.

We took ours and used the bus system. We have the added fun of our stroller not collapsing easily and on the first try. Like a PP said the BP was up but once poor DH got it on the bus it was fine. Another problem we had was that we would bring the refillable mugs with us to the parks after getting a drink at our resort. So, we'd have the mugs, the stroller, backpack, and non walking baby to lug on the bus. I really wish we would have charged people to watch our comedic struggle. However, we are going back in June and will be taking the big stroller again. I like it because it reclines so DS can nap in it, it has cup holders, a tray for DS, a shade, and storage underneath.

I guess I'm in the minority, but we used our Graco Metrolite travel system for two trips and I thought it was a pain in the neck on the bus and trams. For the next trip, I bought a lightweight stroller that has storage (not as much as a Graco, but enough), reclines, has a snack tray, and can fold with one hand. It's our "travel stroller" and I love it. No more big bulky strollers at the World for us.

first time i was ever at disney i used the graco qaudtro (dd was 4 months and it was great no problems and we had places to put alot of stuff)

Used it last September and loved it! You bet I'm bringing it again! :thumbsup2

We have traveled with the single and the side by side. We love them and no matter what stroller you have it is a pain to get on and off the bus. We always travel with the double and we also take a single. (Our kids are close in age)

Traveled with our Graco metro-lite when DD was 22 months old. Would not of taken anything else. Reclines so she could sleep was able to use as a chair to feed was great for storage. We stayed at the FW Cabins so we were traveling on golf carts, busses and boats. DH BP was up a couple of times... But DD was comfortable so thats all that matters
Just take your time and remember that you are on vacation so Enjoy...

We took our giant Evenflo in Sept and I'm so glad I did! I went back and forth for months on what to bring. The space was great and DS was so comfy (and he did do a lot of sleeping in it!). The tray was a must for snacks and the cupholders were great for us.

we definitely took our travel system when we took dd @ 6.5 months. dh took care of bags and stroller - i took care of dd when it came to getting on and off buses, etc. we are going again next year - dd will be 2.5 yrs and new baby will be 6.5 months. we are definitely planning to bring a graco duo. they are far more comfortable looking than typical umbrella strollers, etc. plus the added storage space and cupholders make it a huge help as we were out all day and i tend to pack a lot of stuff. :)

in my opinion - the struggle of getting on and off the bus was far far outweighed by the benefits of the little ones comfort and our day long convenience. :)
