Anyone done the pre reserving fast passes?

I'm playing with the booking fast passes ahead, wondering what the firework and electrical parade areas are like? Worth it?

We've used FP for MSEP and Wishes. I think the MSEP FP is worth it. It puts you at the hub right in front of the castle. For Wishes you can just stay where you are. i think that's the easiest thing to do. I don't really think the Wishes FP was worth it. It's kind of off to the side by the Rose Garden area.

I've used both, on different nights of a trip. The advantage to that is you can arrive much closer to the start time and still get a fairly good spot. I also liked how diligent the CMs were at keeping non-FP users out of the areas. Both were good viewing spots, and not overly crowded. I'd probably do it again, since I hate having to stake out a spot way ahead of time and then spend my wait time fighting to defend the spot from late arrivals, etc.

We were there tonight for the 9:00 pm parade. We got great spots at 8:35 in Frontierland without fast passes. I wouldn't bother with passes for the parade but you can always change your fast passes when you arrive or later.

I think the usefulness also depends on crowd levels. When I used the parade/fireworks FP+, it was a holiday weekend so crowds were fairly high. I'd have never gotten as good a seat that close to the start time without them.

Totally agree on time of year and if there is more than one parade that night or only one night of the week.

On a lower time you can easily get a spot in Frontierland way down by the Country Bears fairly close to parade time.

A holiday or busier time or if you must sit right in the hub then maybe.

I totally agree. This is what we did too. No need to book Wishes if you already have one for MSEP.

Wishes was there...I didn't book it though. Not sur why it's not for you unless it's a night it's not shown?

I seem to remember reading in a previous thread that the entertainment options showed up later sometimes, and that they were only on weekends maybe?

I'm trying to remember because this was last August when only a small amount of people actually had FP. I think I got there about 30 minutes before the parade. There was a 20 minute fp window.

Ok, great! Thank you. This is on my list for sure. I want a great spot for pictures like some people get... I can't remember their dis names though but they do great TRs!

Does anyone have pictures of Wishes from the FP+ viewing location? Trying to decide if it is worth it from a view standpoint. Thanks!
