Anyone done the Meet and Greet with Figment?

Has anyone done this yet? My 5yo DS is going to FLIP if he can see Figment "for real." We may never leave Epcot. He is so in love with Figment. We are going in June and have not told him about this because we would not hear anything but FIGMENT for the next 4 months!

I'm interested in knowing the answer to this too! My youngest LOVED the ride Figment and Figment was one of the few stuffed animal toys she wanted and still has (the other was Brother Bear- so it wasn't very many! She REALLY wanted that one though). I thought I heard in another thread that the Figment ride was no more.
So I'm interested to hear about a Figment character, maybe that will make it up to her.

The Meet and Greet started the day after we left WDW on our last trip. It will be our first stop when we are there in April, My DH and myself LOVE Figment. We will spend hours riding the ride over and over. I know, how sick is that?
Anyway, we will get to check it out a month of so before you.

The ride is still there. The Friends of Figment website would certainly have sent out an all points bulletin if it wasn't.

I LOVE Disney and thought that I knew a good bit about it, but I have never heard of figment....can someone fill me in?

Figment is the character from the Journey Into the Imagination ride in Future World. He's a little purple, dinosaur/lizard looking fellow. Really cute and it's a cute ride too.

We were there in Dec. and found figment meet and greet by accident. The door was closed with Figment inside. It actually looked like there was no one there. We tried and the door opened. We went in and were the only ones there. We spend about 5 minutes with pictures and the kids playing peek with Figment from behind the walls in the area. Figment has always been a favorate for the family and the meet and greet is a great addition.

We did it - my eight year old is crazy about Figment. Figment is about 6' tall and doesn't do autographs. Few realize he is there - there are no signs, at least two months ago. He is in an enclosed add-on just uphill from JITI and next to HISTA

YIKES! He's 6' tall? I remember when he'd make appearances with the Dreamfinder (I think that's what his name was.) He'd carry Figment, and have him do all sorts of fun things with the kids. My three loved it.

It's nice that he's back, but his size is going to need some getting used to.

He is cute. There was no one there and not really much on the door other than Meet Figment here.

I have many picture with him and dreamfinder. I actually just watched a home video where me and my family were talking with dreamfinder---quite funny actually!!

but it is unbelievable that he is 6' tall---i mean---woah!!! he's bigger than the beast!

I love these boards!! My boys LOVE Figment - when we were last at Disney, we rode JITI several times in a roa, and they wanted to go back the next day! They will be so thrilled to meet him!

Why doesn't he do autographs?

I thought I read on another thread about this ride being closed or going to be closed- for rehab or forever or something. I'm glad to know that isn't accurate information!!!!
