Looking for anyone who's done this itinerary in the past. wanting to know which themes were on which nights, etc. If you have Navigators, even better!

Both the Wonder and Magic have done seven night cruises out of San Juan in the past. You might want to check the www.disneycruiselineblog.com. Scott has a variety of past navigators. They will not be the exact same itinerary, but will give you a sense of what was offered in the past.

On the Magic, formal night is the first sea day. Pirate night is the day you are in St. Lucia.

We sail on April 30th, this cruise is the most port intensive we have ever been on, its going to be fun but busy. As PP said Pirate night is in St. Lucia.
I guess we don't have formal night until first sea day which is night 5.
We are also on the 6 night re-po back to Port Canaveral on May 7th and that is showing pirate night on the last night the cruise, I have never seen this before, I wonder if it will change what people do since thats usually packing night. We may have some pirates debarking in Port Canaveral on Saturday morning.

2017.

I just checked. On the April 30, 2017 cruise, the sea day is on the second day of the cruise (Monday) so that is when formal night will be.

OOPS! I had our May 7th cruise up you're right, sorry about that!

Have fun! Airfare to get there has always been too high to justify for us.

Yeah - there is a Southern Caribbean on RCCL's Jewel of the Seas I have my eye on for Spring Break next year, but in just randomly searching flight costs, the flight would be as much as the cruise almost.

Where are you from? We are from NY and it wasn't terrible on Jet Blue.

North Carolina (Charlotte, Greensboro, or Raleigh are ok for us). We had received a special cruise deal to do one of these for about $150 per person (it was ridiculous - a Disney never opportunity) a couple of years ago - obviously relatively last minute - and airfare was around $2,500 per person. So sad we couldn't do it.

Now it rides about the same as going to Hawaii or on some over seas trips. That stacked on top of the cruise cost makes it a bit ridiculous when we can drive to Port Canaveral in 10 hours.

OMG, thank you!!! I totally forgot about JetBlue!!!! That 2018 Spring Break cruise is looking more possible!

I've been eyeing those SJ cruises too but airfare just makes it seem impossible for us. The price to fly from Vancouver to Puerto Rico is nearly the same as the cruise. Even from Seattle it's too darn high! :sad2:

We did this on the Magic but I'm not one to save Navigators or remember which night was which. Our cruise was a Halloween cruise so that may have impacted the schedule as well.

It was super port intensive - to the point that I didn't even get off the ship at the last port but opted instead to stay with DS while DH and my parents disembarked to wander a bit and grab lunch. I don't think we would do such a port intensive cruise again, unless it were maybe in Europe. We had terrific luck finding beaches by simply heading to the taxi line and asking taxi drivers to take us to the best/quietest beach they knew of. We would arrange for them to return for us in a few hours.

If we had had more time I would have liked to explore PR a bit more but we were able to fly in only a day early. We flew southwest which was easy but I used points so I don't recall prices. The airport and cruise terminal were fine - there was a duty free shop in the cruise terminal where we were able to grab liquor for the room (back in the good old days when I could bring Baileys for my morning coffee) They did have wine and cases of water as well - I don't remember if they had beer because we weren't looking.

JFK to PR on jetblue...we paid under $300 pp. We booked the flight really far out. I kept checking & we got the best price. We fly out in 24 days!! :cloud9:
