We will be on board the Wonder next year over Valentine's day. We set sail on the Sunday the 13th and Valentine's will be Monday the 14th - Nassau Day I think. My question is - has anyone tried to get Palo for Valentine's? I would really like to get my one Palo ressie for the Valentine's night so Dh and I can have our big date night. I don't want to go for the REAS as I don't think it is worth it for us (and if I spend any more $$ on this trip Dh will blow a gasket!!). Also, anyone have any suggestions for rotation if this is what I want to do? We have early seating with a DS 3.

Thanks!

We did Valentine's Day dinner at Palo in 2001. It was our final night of the 4 night cruise so it was the night we were supposed to repeat a restaurant. It was a great way to end our cruise and to spend have a romantic dinner. We didn't have the REAS package (I'm not sure if it was offered back then) so we did the ressie rush (DH to get Palo reservation & I went to the spa) and were able to get the night that we wanted.

We ate at Palo on Valentine's Day several years ago. I remember that I ordered the special ravoli and it was heart shaped!!

Valentine's Day is a biggie, you'll have to get there early & make the reservation as soon as possible. We went in 2000, and DH had to grovel to get a reservation for Valentine's day (since he planned to propose that night, they let him make the ressie). We didn't get on board until 2:00-ish. But my point is that *many* people will be thinking the same way you are & will want that reservation... Just make sure you're one of the early-birds & you should be OK.
